Holiday Blog Blitz Begins! by Jeanne Jachna

It's Jeanne here today and I'm bringing you tidings of great joy!  We're starting our Winter / Holiday blog blitz TODAY!  That means we're sharing projects made with the new products and hoping to inspire your holiday makes!!  We've got lots to show you and lots of prizes too!   You can see all the 2019 Holiday Release products in the store here!

I made my holiday card look like a present!  I started with a solid double matted card stock background.  I topped the panel with two Grosgrain Ribbon craft dies to look like ribbon over the blue wrapping.

The Holiday Joy craft die comes with an outline word die as well as a shadow background die.   That means you can use the word with or without the background making it more versatile.  I love the little cut out leaves that adorn the ends!   I filled in their centers to add some extra color. 

The Delicate Poinsettia die set contains three die cuts.   I cut each layer from a different shades of red and stacked them with the lightest in the center.  I had some assorted size half pearls perfect for embellishing the flower center but some NUVO Drops would work great too! 




And now the part you've been waiting for.  The prize today is the Delicate Poinsettias craft die.

The Holiday / Winter blog blitz runs from September 19-30. We'll be giving away a prize on every blog blitz post during this time. To enter to win you need to leave a comment on ONLY the posts that you wish to enter. To enter ALL the posts during the blog blitz you need to leave a comment on EACH ONE. One person will be chosen at random from each of the posts during the blog blitz. Only one prize per person per blog blitz. We use a random number generator to select winners from comments. You have until midnight US EST October 2 to leave a comment on each and every post that you want to enter. Winners will be announced on this blog on October 4.

Wow!! More new releases? This has been quite a month! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE how you used the grosgrain ribbon to make your card look like a gift! The poinsettia is BEAUTIFUL!! And the Holiday Joy sentiment is PERFECT for this card!!

This is very lovely and a cute idea making the card look like a present. I love poinsettias - always try to buy a red, pink & white one for the holidays.

I really appreciate the generosity of the Memory Box company/family! So many designers share their ideas and there are frequent opportunities to win samples of new products. I make cards for friends and family only, so the occasional win helps me justify the indulgence of my guilty pleasure....

This is a wonderful release--lots for my wishlist! The grograin die is genius! I can't get enough poinsettias, so would love to win! Great card!
