Woven Circle Shaker Card
by Robin Tharaldson

May 30 Shaker Full With

Hi everyone! Today, my inspiration is a shaker card using the Woven Circle Ring die by Poppystamps!  This die creates a fast and easy shaker card; I can see it being used for the holidays with just a change of sequin color and sentiment!

May 30 Shaker CU1 With

I used a sparkly gold paper from Tim Holtz to cut out my "Sparkly" word and then layered more die cuts to create a dimensional word!

May 30 Shaker CU2 With

Sequins, from Dress My Craft, were used to fill the shaker area! Love this mix of sparkle and shine! The following video will show you just how easy it was to create this card!

See, that was pretty easy, right? Sometimes the simple designs work the best!

I hope you enjoyed my tutorial and will come back soon for more inspiration on Poppystamps blog!

Coffee Full With

You know crafting and coffee go hand in hand, right?  Then you need to check out Amy Tsuruta's Spring + Summer Blog Hop!   It's the perfect way to combine two of your favorite things!  Poppystamps is one of MANY sponsors for the event; that means if you play along you could win a $20 gift certificate to the Poppystamps store!  My "coffee" inspiration is a quick treat box made from coffee themed paper and of course, filled with chocolate covered espresso beans!!

Coffee CU1 With

My box was easily made using WeR Memory Keepers 1 2 3 Punch board along with Poppystamps Pointed Circle Frames and Pinpoint Main Street Tags dies!

Coffee CU2 With

The final box size is 4" x 4" x 4" which is quite BIG and I just HAD to purchase more espresso beans to fill it completely!!!  A simple wrap of twine to close my box, plus the addition of a tag and my treat box was finished! Here is a video to sho you how make your own treat box!

I encourage you play along with the Spring + Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop, you don't need to make a card but it's a great place to get ideas for projects of your own.  Your FIRST chance to win is to go to the Coffee Lovers Blog, they have a prize up for grabs and there are dozens of sponsors giving away great prizes also! Spring Release Thank You Card
by Robin Tharaldson

PS April 27 With

Hi everyone, today I have a "thank you" card featuring several dies from Poppystamps Spring Release! There are MANY more in the release, so be sure to check it out here!  This card is an A7 or 5" x 7", sometimes you just need a larger card base to pull off your design.

PS April 27 CU2 With

The main feature on my card is the beautiful butterfly! To create this butterfly I used the Corden and Powell Butterfly dies!  Each die can be used individually but together they make an awesome butterfly!

PS April 27 CU1 With

For added interest I used the Finial Corner die on two of the corners of my card.  I used spray adhesive to adhere the die cuts to my card panel.

PS April 27 CU3 With

I used the Thank You Streamer die for my sentiment; it's an older die but one I use over and over.  To see how to create this card check out the following video!

Thanks for stopping by the Poppystamps blog and hopefully you checked out the Spring Release! For more ideas, inspiration and news subscribe to the Poppystamps Blog!

For my post today I am featuring the Big Circle Border Layer die; I think it adds a nice touch to my panel and allows the background color to show.

My bouquet was created using Peony Stems and Blossom, stamps and dies. The images were stamped with Memento Desert Sand onto watercolor paper and simply colored.
