Blog Blitz March CU1 WITH

My "hugs" card could be used for several different occasions with a simple change of sentiment! I used Whittle Rabbit and Whittle Oval Wood Frames to create the cute shaker portion of my card! I LOVE this little rabbit, I think he looks quite cheeky!

Blog Blitz March CU2 WITH

The new large word dies from the Spring Release are my favorite!! The word dies can be used in so many ways AND there are several different words! The stamped sentiment is from Birthday Blowout stamp set!

I added a Spring mix of sequins to my shaker portion and a few more on my card base! I just HAD to add one more image of my project (below) and the super cute rabbit!

Birthday Wishes!
by Robin Tharaldson

Birthday Wishes Full WITH

My birthday gate fold card features stamps and dies from Poppystamps Spring Release! The release has several LARGE word dies and I Love them!! They include Sending, Hello, Thanks, You, Hugs and Wishes!! When I saw them I did my happy dance!

 Birthday Wishes CU3 WITH

I used the NEW background stamp, Picnic Plaid, to create my panels for the front of my card (another happy dance). I stamped with VersaMark ink,  heat embossed with white embossing powder and used distress inks to sponge onto the panel! A few flicks of black gouache added a bit of interest!

Birthday Wishes CU2 WITH

For my word die cut I cut 3 layers of the word background from Neenah 110# and 2 layers of the word itself from black card stock! After layering them together it created a very strong embellishment to close my card. I used Thin Clear Velcro Fasteners to close my card! The following video will show you just how the Velcro works!!

Thanks for stopping by today! AND be on the lookout, in March, for a Blog Blitz featuring the new release!! You could win one of the products from the Spring Release!

Friendship Day is Any Day!
by Robin Tharaldson

PS Friendship Card Full WITH

I love to send my friends cards, for no other reason than to let them know I'm thinking of them! Here are a few friendship dates I thought you might want to mark on your calendars just in case!

In Oberlin, Ohio, Friendship Day is celebrated on April  8th.  National Best Friends Day is a holiday celebrated on June 8th.  The United Nations decided July 30th would be he International Day of Friendship.  Friendship Day, in the United States, is celebrated on the first Sunday in August, August 4th this year! As you can see there are a number of days you could send a friendship card; but why not send a card...just because?  Don't wait for a special day!!!

PS Friendship Card CU3 WITH

I used the Ribbon Heart Sidekick Frame die and fussy cut out the hearts! I just love how the Ribbon Hearts look by themselves! I adhered the hearts onto a grey corrugated strip of cardstock!

PS Friendship Card CU2 WITH

My sentiment is from the Love and Friendship stamp set and includes several heartfelt sentiments for many "friendship" occasions!! I heat embossed the sentiment using VersaMark ink and Brutus Monroe Sterling Embossing Powder.

PS Friendship Card CU1 WITH

My video will show you just how easy this Friendship card was to assemble!!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Sending My Love
by Robin Tharaldson

PS Feb29 Full WITH

Valentine's Day is just a few weeks away and you still have time to create a few cards for those special people in your life! By "special" I mean those who know how much work you put into your cards and won't just toss them away...right!

PS Feb29 CU2 WITH

My A-10 or business size card features the Tumbled Heart Balloon Collage die from Poppystamps 2019 Valentine's release. This die was a lot of fun to work with; I love the colors and the fun silver string with a bow!

PS Feb29 CU1 WITH

I used two shades of card stock for my hearts and then added Tonic Shimmer to all of them for that little sparkle!

PS Feb29 CU3 WITH

My sentiment is from the Sending Love stamp set. The following video will show you how to create this card!

Thanks for taking the time to stop by and be sure to check out more inspiration from the Poppystamps Design Team here!

Donut You Know? It's Blog Blitz Time!!!
by Robin Tharaldson

Valentine Blog Blitz Full With

Thanks for stopping by today and joining in on Poppystamps 2019 Valentine's Release Blog Blitz! The Blitz runs from January 10-21, so "Donut" get left out!! More information at the end of my post on how to have a chance to win a prize!!!

Valentine Blog Blitz CU1 With

My project uses products from Poppystamps 2019 Valentine's Release!!  I used Big Donut and Little Donut dies plus Donut What I'd Do stamp and die set! I did not snip the Big Donut dies apart but cut all of the dies from three different colored card stock! That way I was able to create three cards pretty fast!!

Valentine Blog Blitz CU2 With

Donut know what it is but there is something about using the colors white, pink and chocolate; they just go together so well! The cute little heart sprinkles were cut three times from each color; you can never have too many sprinkles!!! I finished my cards by adding Tonic Crystal Glaze to the sprinkles and added a few moonstone sequins.

Valentine Blog Blitz CU3 With

My sentiments are from the Donut What I'd Do stamp and die set! AND yes, the die comes with the stamp set!! The following video will show you just how easy these cards were to put together!!

To win the BIG Donut die I used today you need to leave a comment!  Here is all the info on how to participate. The blog blitz runs from January 10-21. Holiday Place Cards
by Robin Tharaldson

Holiday Place Card Full With

I'm not sure how many of you set your holiday table with place cards but my mom and grandmom ALWAYS had place cards! Hopefully it's not another  tradition falling by the wayside. I still use place cards; because I know not to have my Aunt sit next to a certain cousin...not going there!!! I made these super simple place cards using Poppystamps Double Stitch Tags, Tree Line Hill die and Memory Box Open Studio Pinpoint Scalloped Circles!

Holiday Place Card CU1 With

I cut two, of the Pinpoint Scalloped Circles, from white card stock to create the base of my place card. The little piercings around the edge are so pretty!

Holiday Place Card CU2 With

I added a little snow to the Tree Line Hill die cut using Simply White  Nuvo Crystal Drops; just needed a little something. I used the smallest of the Double Stitch Tags dies to create the name tag that slips behind the trees! I added the name using a thick white gel pen!

Holiday Place Card CU3 With

Here's a side view to show you how the place card stands up; you could even put a few chocolates inside!!  The following video shows how to assemble the Holiday Place Card!!

I hope you give this simple project a try; I think it would look great using kraft card stock as the background for a more rustic feel!! Thanks for stopping by and check out the Poppystamps Blog for more holiday project ideas!

by Robin Tharaldson

Holiday Tags Full With

Well it's official, the Holidays are here, whether we are ready for them or not!!  My super easy shaker tag is great for those last minute, I need a gift now situations!! I'm using the Double Stitch Tags set to create my gift card holder, which could double as a card base; you need to watch my video to see how the inside is put together!!

Holiday Tags With CU1

For the shaker panel I used Simple Pinpoint Snowflake Frame, clear acetate and 1/8" foam strips from Darice! These tiny foam strips made this shaker go together FAST! No more cutting minute foam strips...

Holiday Tags CU2 With

My sentiment, from the Christmas Time stamp set, is inside and holds the gift card!!  The following video will show you just how easy this tag card is to make AND it fits into an A2 envelope!

Fall Leaves
by Robin Tharaldson

Oct 26 Full With

There is a "hint" of Fall in the air here in SoCal!!!  Last week it was in the 90's, so who knows what is coming next, temperature wise!!  My project was inspired by a video from Sheri Carroll, she used her acrylic block as a "smusher" and applied watercolors to her paper.  I used the same technique to create my Fall leaves for my Grateful card along with products from Poppystamps Holiday Happenings Release! Click HERE to see the entire release!

Oct 26 CU1 No

I used Whittle Oak and Whittle Maple Leaf dies for my card; I just love all the detail in these die cuts!

Oct 26 CU3 With

The Triple Stitch Window die is the perfect frame for my Fall leaves. I popped up the leaf panel using foam tape for a bit of dimension!

Oct 26 CU2 With

My sentiment is from the Deco Frames and Phrases stamp set; just a perfect font for so many occasions!!  Be sure to watch my video to see how I created my Fall leaves!!
