Booyah 3

Hello! I cannot help myself but when September comes, all I want to do is make Halloween and Christmas projects!  Well, today I have a ghost spinner card using the Oval Fold Frame.   I started my card by die cutting two black card panels with the Oval Fold Frame. This will allow me to sandwich the ghost on clear thread between the two panels. With one of the panels, trim off where the embossed line is for the fold on the oval panel.  I also trimmed a little more, about 1/8 of an inch so that when I sandwich the two panels the other panel with the fold will still fold nicely onto an A2 black card panel. I used some very tacky adhesive strips to suspend my clear thread between the two die cut panels.  The ghost will be adhered so that it is centered in the oval space.

To decorate the panel, I used the Picket Tall Curve Border die and die cut from orange cardstock and adhered to the front panel with liquid glue.  For the inside, I trimmed some purple cardstock and then inked with Distress Ink Wilted Violet ink and then splattered it with Distress Metallic spray.   Once dry, I adhered to the back panel.   For my sentiment, I used the Poetic Lowercase Alphabet and die cut out the word BOOYAH! and layered this onto some orange and black cardstock that was die cut with the Scalloped Stitch Frames.   I adhered this to the front of the panel with foam tape.

I die cut the ghost from several layers of cardstock both white and white glitter paper from the Glitzy Glitter pad.  So that the ghost matched on both sides, I flipped my paper over so that one ghost was die cut so that the background was the front of the glitter paper.   I then used foam tape to adhere the ghosts together and sandwich the clear thread in between the foam and ghosts.   Spin the ghost several times and then close up your card.  Once it is opened, the ghost will spin and shake around!   Check out this video to see the ghost spin!  I hope you have a wonderful day!

Elegant Whittle Cats
By Teresa

Hi Friends! Glad to be on the Blog today sharing my elegant Whittle Cats card.

I knew the minute I saw the Oval Fold Frame that I had to create something fun with this die.

I always start a project by coming up with a color scheme I like and go from there. I cut the Whittle Napping Cat and the Whittle Purring Cat from a dark gray and added black shading by ink blending and and pen details to their faces.

For the Oval Fold Frame, I cut that from blush pink and the Picket Tall Curve Border from the Vintage Pastel Mirror Pad 6x6 Pack. On the inside, I added a white A2 size panel, cutting the 4 1/4 side down to 4 1/8 so that the card could fold correctly.

I used the cut out from the Oval Fold Frame and the extra oval Die that comes with the set, cut from white and ink blend some color onto this die cut.  I also added another oval behind with the same Vintage Pastel MirrorPad and the Basic Oval Set. This really made a nice frame when you open up the card!

The Sentiment is from the Modest Greetings 2 Foil & Cut set, hot foiled with gold.

Thanks for popping by! Until next time, I hope you have a great day doing something you love.
