Fall/Halloween Blog Blitz
by Olga Direktorenko

Hi everyone, hope you are enjoying your weekend!

Our Blog Blitz continues and today's prize is a beautiful Magical Cauldron die from the latest Poppystamps release! You just have to leave your comment down below by midnight September 23 for a chance to win!

Cauldron

This is a project that I have created using this die along with some other dies from this release (see the product list below!). It's a Halloween card that is light and bright rather than dark and gloomy.

All I did is sticking down the inked die cuts on top of an embossed background. I also added a layer of glaze onto the focal image (the cat).

I am also including a step by step video guide in case you would like to reproduce this design! Enjoy the video and don't forget to comment for your chance to win a new die!

Thanks for visiting today! Good luck to everyone!

Mice and Cheese
by Olga Direktorenko

Hi paper crafters! August is here and I hope you are having a wonderful time!

I keep playing with frameless shaker card technique and have made another funny card - this time it's cheese and mouse themed. I am currently on vacation away from home and from my craft room so I will publish a video tutorial explaining this technique as soon as I come back!

And I have used Whittle dies again - how cute are those?!

No Frame Shaker Card
by Olga Direktorenko

Hi fellow cardmakers, hope you are doing great!

You know how much I love cold tones and well as neutrals but it has been so hot lately I could resist using some fiery tones! I used my much loved dies from Whittle series as well as some plain circles.

Have you noticed that the shaker frame has no "frame" on one side? That's a super fun and easy technique, a rare one but definitely deserving more attention! I'll have a video tutorial on that - coming soon!

Cute Stitched Tag
by Olga Direktorenko

Hello, hope you have had a great week!

Today's project is a rather large but very cute tag with lots of stitching all along. For the tag shape I have used double stitch tag dies along with matching frames. To create a focal image I have used a bunch of Whittle dies (they also have stitched details) as well as a tiny rotary phone.

I have die cut the window on a white tag using a wood frame die and attached a white tag onto a gray one, then added my little scene inside. After that I have attached my sentiment at the bottom of a tag and was done!

A cute little project like this would be great for so many occasions!

Whittle Halloween Tag
by Olga Direktorenko

Hi there and thanks for stopping by!

Today I'm sharing a first Halloween project this year! This cute little tag is really easy to create:

I have used the double stitched tag along with a matching frame to create a shape of a tag. I attached a frame with some foam tape and then started adding some die cut shapes from the Whittle collection. I arranged all the die cuts inside the frame, trimmed them down where necessary and then simply stuck them down with some liquid glue.

As a finishing touch I added some sequins and the tag is done!

I hope you enjoyed today's project. See you again soon on Poppystamps blog! Have a beautiful week!
