Fishbowl Card
by Olga Direktorenko

Hi and happy Easter!

Hope you are having wonderful time! The card I would like to show you today is goldfish themed. I used to have goldfish when I was little and I still lover their elegance and grace.

I used some very basic and simple mixed media techniques to create a variety of textures on this card. Watch the video tutorial below for step by step instructions.

Lantern Shaker Card
by Olga Direktorenko

Hi crafty people,

It's been a while since I last made a shaker card and I nearly forgot how much fun it is! This one has a shaped shaker window - a lantern with a bulb inside!

This project is quite simple but there are some little tips and tricks that I would like to share. Please find below a video tutorial and of course, some close up pictures of a card!

Spring Window
by Olga Direktorenko

Hello crafters and welcome to another post of the Blog Blitz. Today you have a chance to win the beautiful Garden Poppy Stitched Frame die from the new Poppystamps release. Just comment on this post by March 17. Winners will be announced on March 19!

Poppies

I have used this die as well as other Poppy dies to "create a window with a view" scene. I have simply stuck the poppy frame behind the potted flower frame, then added a couple of hills and the background. Finally I mounted the entire piece onto the embossed A2 card base.

March Serenade
by Olga Direktorenko

Hi crafty friends,

So many things are associated with the coming of spring, one of them being... cats! What are you thinking of as the spring approaches?

I have combined several different Poppystamps dies to create a March night scene. This card is simple to create and it's a lot of fun too. I have used inlay die cutting to create a cloudy sky background, some simple stamping for a sentiment and then just attached the die cut images (either with regular adhesive or mounting tape) to build up a little scene!

Koi Pond Shaker Card
by Olga Direktorenko

Hello crafty friends!

Today I am going to use some smaller dies to demonstrate how you can turn a plain card design into a fish pond scene just by adding some realistic details. Basically it is an A2 size CAS card with a circle window and a sentiment. BUT - if you emboss the background it is going to turn into an old pavement. A watercolor background and some shiny sequins become a water surface. A little fish and a cluster of waterlilies finish off the scene.

Watch the video tutorial below for a step by step guide on how to put this card together!

Gnome Santa Tags
by Olga Direktorenko

Hi Poppystamps friends,

Today's Holiday project is all about stretching your dies and creating something different from what they were meant to do. I am going to use a Christmas tree, a candy corn and a mushroom cap to build up a gnome-like Santa.

This project is a lot of fun to make and if you want to know how to create it step by step you can find a video tutorial down below this post!

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great time preparing for Holidays!

Fall Shaker Tags
by Olga Direktorenko

Hi, hope you are having a wonderful weekend.

Today I am celebrating my favorite season (fall!) with a set of three shaker tags. And of course, I've used some yellow and gold for this project. Some of the images are placed inside the tags while others (the branches) are attached on top of acetate window.

It might seem a bit complicated but once you have all the die cuts ready to go putting the tags together is pretty easy!
