You are Amazing
by Michelle Woerner

April-card-1Hi crafty friends! It's Michelle Woerner here with a simple spring card. Nothing says spring like flowers blooming!

April-card-1-angleTo start, I embossed the Evangeline Pinpoint Frame die into white cardstock. This card front die looks amazing die cut, but just as pretty embossed! I trimmed it and matted it to light green cardstock from the 6x6 Greenery paper pad. Next I die cut the largest heart frame from the Scallop Pinpoint Hearts die set with the same light green cardstock and trimmed off the right side.

April-card-1-suppliesI die cut the Simple Floral Bundle in 2 greens, purple, pink and blue cardstock. I lightly inked the bottom of each of the flower blooms to add a bit of dimension. I arranged the flowers inside the heart frame and added some gems for a bit of sparkle.

April-card-1-cuThe sentiment is from Sentimental Banners stamp and die set. I love to have the sentiment pop against the white background by embossing in white on black cardstock. I hope you have a chance to look through all the pretty flower die sets and find something for your spring cards! Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!Michelle Woerner Floral Signature

Make A Splash Challenge Reminder
by Michelle Woerner

April-challenge-sq-2
Hi crafty friends! It's Michelle Woerner, and I'm here with a reminder for the April challenge. On the first of each month we post a new challenge and we'd love you to play along. If you link up a project from any on line gallery, blog, or instagram, you're automatically entered for the monthly $20 giveaway! The theme for April is Make A Splash, we want you to add water to your design! It could be some water coloring, a rainy day scene, or a technique like smooshing, spritzing or splatter!

April-challenge-products2-sqTo start my card I used the Nordic Belle Butterfly die set and cut them from black and white cardstock. I wanted 3 butterflies with 1 being smaller, so for the center butterfly I omitted the largest layer. That gave the butterfly enough variance that it balanced out the sentiment perfectly. The sentiment uses the "hello" from the Hello Spring die set.

April-challenge-products-sqI don't play with water colors often, so this was a fun departure for me. I took out my water color palette and my No 8 round brush and added some colors to my panel as grounding for my butterflies. I added color coordinated gems to the butterfly centers to tie everything together.

April-challenge-cu-sqI hope I've inspired you to play along with our challenge this month! You can always find the latest challenge by clicking on the badge in the top right corner of this blog!Michelle Woerner Floral Signature

Easter Wishes
by Michelle Woerner

Hi crafty friends! Michelle Woerner here and with Easter right around the corner, I'm sharing a fun Easter basket card!

Easter-wishes-sqI started by die cutting the Evangeline Pinpoint Frame card front die with white cardstock and layering it over a pale aqua blue glitter sheet from the Delicate Pastel Glitter 6x6 paper pad. I LOVE all the soft colors from this glitter pad and think they are all perfect for Easter and Spring cards!

Easter-wishes-angle-sq

I focused on the Nordic Basket and Nordic Bunny Trio die sets, both are from the NEW 2025 Nordic Spring collection. I had a few flowers left over from my last spring bunnies card (posted here on March 3, 2025) and I wanted to use them, so I kept the same color palette of pinks and aquas. I die cut the flowers, eggs and bunny sweaters all in a variety of colors and mixed and matched. For some of the eggs, I used a marker and made tiny dots to give them a little variety.

Easter-wishes-productsThe sentiment is from the Easter Wishes die set and I die cut it from a very dark aqua color to POP against the white background and tie in with the pale aquas throughout. Once again, I used one of the flowers from the Nordic Basket die set as accents and put a single gem in the center of each.

Easter is almost here and I hope you have a chance to check out the entire 2025 Nordic Spring collection. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Hello Spring
by Michelle Woerner

Hi crafty friends! Michelle Woerner here and today I am sharing this adorable spring card!  This is a sneak peek of the NEW Nordic Spring release. It features adorable bunnies, frogs, an Easter basket and lots of fun sentiments!

March-Hello-Spring-sq

As soon as I received this release I KNEW I had to use these adorable bunnies! I mean how cute are these little guys??? To start, I chose a piece of pattern paper from the Birthday Fun pack which had light colors for spring. I chose cardstock to coordinate with the pretty aqua and pinks from the paper and die cut all the bunny outfits. After playing around with color combos, I dressed mama bunny in pinks and babies in aqua.

March-Hello-Spring-angle-sqI trimmed the pattern paper and cardstock into strips and adhered near the bottom as grounding for the bunnies. I wanted to bring in more of the soft aqua color, so I added some splatter behind the bunnies. The bunnies are die cut from a light gray color and I added light pink to the ears with a copic marker.

March-Hello-Spring-productsThe sentiment is from the Hello Spring die set and die cut from a bright medium pink. Of course I had to have a few flower accents and these simple flowers came from the Nordic Basket die set. One on either side of the baby bunnies for perfect balance!

Spring is just around the corner, hope you have a chance to check out the collection! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!Michelle Woerner Floral Signature

Let It Snow
by Michelle Woerner

Hi crafty friends! Michelle Woerner here and today I am sharing this fun and simple snowman card! Is there still snow where you live? Here in the Pacific Northwest, we've had such an uncommon warm winter that we had 2 days of 1 inch of snow! lol! But for you lucky snow bunnies, here's a cute snowman.

February-Let-it-Snow-sq

This cutie is from the Nordic Happy Snowman die set. I love how the snowman pieces are on 1 die and the coat, hat and scarf are on another die. This makes die cutting so fast and easy. The sentiment is from the Let It Snow Moonlight Script die set, both sets are from the 2024 Nordic Wonderland release. The cute circle rings around the happy snowman are cut from the Simple Rings die set.

February-Let-it-Snow-productsI went with blue tones for this card and chose a cool toned light blue from the Lagoon 6x6 paper pad and the pops of dark blue glitter are from the Glitzy Glitter 6x6 pad. I love how they compliment each other.

February-Let-it-Snow-angle-sq

See the little accent dots? Those are the negative pieces from the coat and hat! I never sweep away all the little negative pieces until I completely finish my card. You never know when or if you can use them!

February-Let-it-Snow-cu-sq

Thank you for stopping by and I hope I've inspired you to save your negative die cut bits, no matter how small. Have a great day!
