Birthday Wishes Deco Diamonds
by Meghan Kennihan

Final_5 (2)Hi Crafty Friends,
I am back with my new FAVORITE stencil, the Poppy Stamps Deco Diamond Stencil. I love layering stencils. Earlier this month I made an all pink card with this stencil and today I decided to make a monochromatic purple birthday card with a different shade of purple for each  layer of the stencil.

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: What is your favorite shade of purple?
A: Me? Bright, like Wilted Violet Distress Oxide

Final_4 (2)The Pointy Lattice Plate die fits perfectly with this stencil and makes such a cool textured pattern! I added the beautiful Birthday Wishes Script Die with Fairy Gems for the dots of the "i"s.

Final_2 (5)
Hi Crafty Friends,
I love sending cards to friends for non-holidays just to know I'm thinking of them. I created this monochrome purple card for a friend going through a hard time so she knows I'm here for her.

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: Do you send "random" cards throughout the year?
A: Me? Yes! Monthly

I created the background by splatter a piece of paper from the Vibrant Violets 6x6 Paper pad with Copic White Opaque paint and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide ink, then I die cut the hearts with the Heartfelt Pinpoint Frame die. I just love the quilted look. I used the Vintage Scalloped Heart die to frame my sentiment and added some Fairy Jewels for extra sparkle.

Avocado Love
by Meghan Kennihan

Final_2Hi Crafty Friends,
Are you making Valentine's Day Cards? I am! These Whittle Avocados make a perfect pair.

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: Do you have a Valentine? What is his/her name?
A: Me? Yes! My Valentine is my puppy Maddie

I started my card by creating the background with Poppy Stamps Criss Cross Heart Stencil. I used Distress Oxide Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover for the different color hearts then splattered it with glitter and Copic White Paint.

IMG_8806I used the inside of the Scalloped Stitch Frames Die to create my red border for the top of my shaker. I added foam tape all around it and mounted it on my stenciled base with the avocado clay pieces inside. You can see them all at the bottom before shaking.

Final_1I finished my card by mounting the Vintage Scalloped Heart die in the center with the sentiment You Guac My World.

Hi Crafty Friends,
I created a winter scene using the Whittle Forest Reindeer Kit and Adelaide Snowflakes Dies. This kit is perfect for winter and masculine cards.

Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: What is your favorite animal for masculine cards?
A: Me? Bears

Final_2 (2)I started my card with a sheet of paper from the Stormy Blue 6x6 Paper pad and splattered it with Copic White and gold paint. I die cut 5 of the snow mounds from the kit to create a forest floor covered in snow then I added the trees in green plaid and basic forest green. I finished the card with the cute little deer and snowflakes in the sky.
