Fun with Foiling
by Marybeth Lopez

Hello, Marybeth Lopez  here with you today. Can you believe May is almost over! It flew by for me.

Poppystamps has so many fun new products as you have seen some of the design team members already use. The DT has created so many gorgeous cards.

I did lost of foiling today with the amazing sentiments sets from Poppystamps : Foil and Cut Die Sets......

After using the hot foil machine , I used the companion outline die to cut it out . So very easy . I made lots so I have them ready to go when needed. I think you are going to love these.

The Congratulations is from the Modest Greetings 1. I also cut and foiled many of those too.

Since I have both sets I was able to cut two at a time. I have many on hand ready to go.

This photo above shows how beautifully they shine and glimmer. I am so excited about the new foil dies from Poppystamps. For my leaves I used oxide distressed inks and blended with a sponge dauber. The leaves are from Poppystamps Brilliant Geraniums Flower Set.

This is a graduation card for a guy , did want any flowers , so I just used the leaves.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Happy Crafting and Peace be with you all.

As a graduate with a fine arts degree, I never really found a career that could fill my creative needs. I spent most of my time raising a family and in the travel industry as well education administration. Card making fulfills this need. While in college I could never decide what my “medium” was because I loved them all. Card making provides the opportunity to use multiple mediums. My cards are primarily created and given to organizations that share them with someone in need of a smile.

Joyful Moments
by Marybeth Lopez

Hello , Marybeth Lopez  here with you today.  I hope you are all doing well and enjoying each day. I created this card using the Poppystamps : Pinpoint Half Ring Plate for the background panel of this card.

Next I used the Poppystamps : Scalloped Stitch Frames, to frame my sentiment  used from memory box stamp set called: Joyful Moments. I may use this as a Mother's Day card with a Mother's Day sentiment on the inside.

I took the Poppystamps Flower Field Corner and turned it up , using it in the middle. You could also add it on the top turned upside down the same way. I almost used it corner to corner and like that too. This is just a different way to use it.

Not sure why the center of my card is showing up a bit yellowish , its white like the panel .

A sampling of the Poppystamps  products I used, all linked below.

Thank you for visiting the Poppystamps blog today.

I have had the pot in the picture for many years, from Pottery Barn, don't you love the simple garden snail on it. Poppystamps has a big snail die at the store, fyi :)

I pray each day brings you joy. God bless and peace be with you all.

Happiness Blooms
by Marybeth Lopez

Hello, Poppystamps friends.  Happy April to you all.  Marybeth Lopez  here with you today sharing a card with some pretty blooms. I used the newest Poppystamps dies : Flower Field Corner and cut it twice so that I could cut the second one apart. ( darker color) I also used the larger Potpourri Flower Set ad used the smaller blooms, also cut out twice for extra blooms in the patterned paper .

I simply layered some of the blooms on top of the darker color and also snipped the Corner die so that I could add a few more of the larger leaves around the circle . The Pinpoint Circle Frame from memory box is an older die but always one of my favorites. You could also use any of the circle dies if you don't have this one, or a square.

I cut the top panel and to raise it up I also cut some fun foam and the another piece of paper to stamp my sentiment one. I used Poppystamps , newest set called Colorful Life, all listed and linked below.

In the center and around the blooms I used Open Studio Fairy Jewels ( Christmas) for the color. The Fairy Jewels are also self adhesive and so easy to use.

I had so much fun layering these blooms and making them my own. (you can too). I hope I have inspired you to head to the craft room and or do some fun shopping. Or using what you have and make a few changes to you bloom dies.

I will be making more of these in different colors in the future. Have a wonderful peaceful week.

Let not, your hearts, be troubled.

Embossing Folder Sunflower
by Marybeth Lopez

Hello. Marybeth Lopez  with you today sharing a card using memory box 3D Embossing Folder beautiful sunflower, and Poppystamps : Splendid Happy Birthday.

I embossed the sunflower on a few colors of card stock and then fussy cut it out. As you can see I left some of the flat edged around the sunflower. It was very easy to cut out and I always find fussy cutting very relaxing.

I was going to have the yellow flower be the shadow but decided to cover it, you could leave some of it showing. I think for my next card I will have some of the darker color showing.

I used some distressed oxide ink and a blender brush to add a bit of color to the edges of the sunflower. I also did a bit of blending on the back  to make sure the edges were covered.

I decided last minute to add a bit of sparkle to the bloom with light touches of chunky glitter. I want this card to bring some joy and happiness in a very sad time.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. If you are looking for a sunflower to make a card with , this is a wonderful one, maybe you already have it.

My God's peace be with you all.

Embossing Folder Fun
by Marybeth Lopez

Peace be with you friends.  Marybeth Lopez  here with you today, sharing a layered panel, using Poppystamps:  Penelope Pinpoint Plate, over a 3D Embossing Folder. The sentiment is Poppystamps Freestyle Hello.

I was playing around with what to make and decide to lay the Poppystamps Pinpoint Frame over the 3D Embossing Folder, I love how it turned out. Kinda hard to photograph. I kept it all white because I liked the cotton-y look of it.

I place the Poppystamps Freestyle Hello on the two layer panel and loved it as it was. I also think this would be fine for a guy card. ( I have so many feminine cards)

I tried many different colors and decided on white on white.  Once you decide on your card design , it's a simple card to create.

I hope you find some happy time to create and escape.

Peace be with you all and all the whole world .
