Whittle Hello
by Marybeth Lopez

Hello, Marybeth Lopez  here with you today. I made this fun little Halloween card with some of the new fall Poppystamps dies.

Thankfully all my links are working now. There was  few technical difficulties and it seems to be fixed now.

I used watercolor card stock from memory box 300gsm for my background  panel , then did a few splatters.

As you can see below I ink blended all my colors you see on the card. Nothing too precise as you can see on the next to photos.

I used Ranger Distress Oxide  for my ink.

I layered the Halloween Assemblage spider web twice , once with the leftover ink blended paper and second layer with Vintage Pastel Mirror Pad Fp1002.

The picture above showed you how I kinda randomly placed my dies. I cut it out twice. One for the contrasting color and just to have a double layer of shoe.

I hope you are all doing well and hanging in there. Thanks so much for stopping by.

So grateful for the cooler weather, we had a long heat wave.

God Bless.

Two Birthday Cards, One Pinpoint Frame
by Marybeth Lopez

Hello, happy September to you all. Marybeth Lopez  here with you today , sharing two cards made with the same dies.

I used the Poppystamps Penelope Pinpoint Frame ,Fanciful Fall Leaves ,.

I love using the cut out for the beautiful foiled : Happy Birthday die, from the set called : Birthday Wishes Poe Script. I make many at the same time when I have my hot foil machine out .

I used Water color paper from Open Studio  300GSM For all the leaves. I wanted a soft look not to compete with the background . I added foil acorns all from the same set called : Fanciful Fall Leaves. I added foam under the Happy Birthday to raise it up and then glued the leave tucked under.

I also made a bluish gray card to have on had for a guy card and just die cut the sentiment twice and then glued together, I love the simplicity of this one and I think its a perfect masculine card.

I used the Sunny Orange Collection for this card from memory box : SP1002

Thanks for the visit today. I hope you are all having a nice week.

Fun Little Ghost Town
by Marybeth Lopez

Hello Marybeth Lopez  here today, with a fun Halloween card. This middle ghost moves a bit , kinda springs up but it easy to mail.

Oh no where did the month of August go! It's been very warm here and the price of air conditioning here in Ca is reduclious ..... maybe everywhere. Well I can't wait for fall.

I jumped right ahead with a Halloween card made with Poppystamps brand new Fall Collection. I used Twisted Houses ,Halloween Assemblage, Modest Greetings and Glossy Black Paper.

The houses are layered twice and on the back I used a thin vellum paper to put behind the windows. I wanted them to show up a bit more so I very lightly dabbed some orange ink on the back , for a soft glow, in the windows.

For the hill I just cut a curve and added it to the card panel. I added two ghost made out of vellum.

I cut two piece's acetate and added score tape to front and back (strong hold) Oh.... before I added the tape I folded the paper with a bone folder.

I recut some of the dies with  the glossy black paper for the : eyes and doors. I wanted them to stand out from the black card stock.

I used Modest Greetings Hot Foil set from Poppystamps . I know this is a Halloween card but I also needed to send a big congratulations card as well.

This was another fun card to create with the new Poppystamps dies and papers.

I hope you have a great day and I will see you in September. As a card maker I love making, fall, Halloween and all holiday cards. Let the fun begin.

Take care and God bless you all.

Sweet Birthday Wishes
by Marybeth Lopez

Hello there and happy July to you all . Marybeth Lopez  here with you today. I have one more Ice Cream card with you today. This time using the Poppystamps Foil and Cut Die Set called Birthday Wishes Poe Script PSF807 The cone is made with Grand Whittle Ice Cream Cone 2505.

I used Open Studio Watercolor Paper for the cones and the ice cream, I love the texture and the way it blends when using watercolor paper. I used foam tape under each layer of cones . This time I only used one layer for the cone.

I the hot foil works so well, I just love it. I love blending the colors for the ice cream too.

I used the blender brushes on my cones and did a little more shading in some areas and less on other areas as needed.

I hope I have inspired you do want to go shopping at Poppystamps and or create a fun card. I love the clean and simple card this Grand Whittle cone makes . You could use so many different sentiments with this cone.

Blueberry Birthday
by Marybeth Lopez

Hi there, Marybeth Lopez  here with you on this last Wednesday of July, can you believe it! Today I am using the Grand Whittle Ice Cream Cone, along with the Modest Greetings 1 Foil and Cut Die Set. I also used the Watercolor Paper for my cones.

I splattered the cones with a water brush dipped in some ink .

The cones were layered twice and ink blended with my blending brush and Distress Oxide Ink as you can see below.

I think the ink blending gives a nice cone look with simple shading. I was light handed while doing this.

I also used the Watercolor Paper from Open Studio. I used a few colors to blend some darker and some mixed. Im calling it blueberry  ice cream , works for me and looks delicious. I was in need of some  boy  birthday cards . I think this should work and I love the simple Happy Birthday under the cone. Loving the Poppystamps Foil and Cut Die Set. I made many at one time in a few different colors. So nice to have on hand when making a card.

Thank you so much for taking a look. I hope I have inspired you to be creative and or go take a look at the shop. So grateful for the blessing of this craft in these times.

God bless you all.

Thinking of You
by Marybeth Lopez

Hi there, Marybeth Lopez  here with you today. It's been awhile. Hope everyone is doing well .

I created this simple and fun card using Poppystamps Large Stained Glass Butterfly and Background die. The top layers is just so dainty and elegant.

I also used the Poppystamps Foil and Cut set ( that I absolutely love) I used the : You are Amazing Poe Scrip Greetings for my "Thinking of You" So simple to you with beautiful results.

This time I die cut the butterfly out of yellow cardstock and then blended some Distress ink in two shades on top .

Above or the very first picture, you can see I used clear paper and die cut the image out. ( I actually used leftover paper from something I laminated) I saved it because it looks like clear acetate . The die cut out very nicely with the metal shim. I glued the acetate on top of the yellow butterfly then layered and glued the body of the butterfly on top.

Thank you so much for the visit today. I wanted to make a sunny and happy card to brighten anyone's day.

Take care and God bless.
