Hello , Marybeth Lopez  here with you today, sharing how I made this embossed card . I am also here to remind you of the  Poppystamps challenge: Flowers and Butterflies.

I hope all the moms had a wonderful Mother's Day.

After adding a layer of vellum to the stamped butterflies I also added a bit of glitter to the edges . The vellum layer made them look even a bit more elegant.

Above is a quick snapshot of the Products I used.

The Embossing folder is amazing and so very detailed that it is hard to capture in a photo.

The Hugs die is layered three times , then I added a tiny bit of glitter to it as well.

Not sure if you can see in the photo above...  the dots of glue  that I used to adhere three layers of the : Happy Birthday die . I cut two layers in cardstock and the top layer in foil from , memory mox linked below. See how tiny the tip of my glue is.

I love the variety of 6 x6 paper packs available from Poppystamps and memory box.

I used the stitched rectangles dies (linked below) the center layer is blended with oxide inks and my blending brush. The beautiful plaid is coral and greens with bits of gold foil , that's why I did the top layer in very light gold-ish foil. I love the simplicity of this card and yet it is full of brightens and happy colors.

A Simple Hello
by Marybeth Lopez

B6FA7E6A-A38B-4680-B523-42200A5F30C8_1_201_a

Hello there friends of Poppystamps ! Marybeth Lopez  , here today sharing a simple, hello card to brighten anyones day. I did some ink blending on white cardstock then used the beautiful: Poppystamps Pinpoint Half Ring Plate. Oh how I love the subtle texture it gives to any panel. I will be using this one quite a bit.

Above you can see I started at the bottom on the panel and worked my way up.

I used the Poppystamps :Hello Poe Script and die cut it out of memory box glitter paper, linked below.

I also added bits of glitter to the beautiful blooms from memory box called All the Happiness also linked below.

I will be honest , at first I had a different Design  for this card and then messed it up, so I needed something large to cover up my mistake, the  large bloom was just the ticket. I think it was a happy accident as I like this much better. I still think enough of the pretty panel shows nicely.

I didn't want to color the large bloom as I wanted the background  to shine , I do love uncolored images on cards.

I hope you like my happy mistake today. Hope you have a wonderful week ahead, I will be back soon with another card.

Take care.

Easter Basket Slimline Card
by Marybeth Lopez

07E5D0F2-D9EA-4ABC-BFD7-5ED42D606384_1_201_a

Hello , hope you are all having some fun crafty time. Marybeth Lopez  here today for Poppystamps with a slimline card using a few more dies than I normally do. Trying not to make it too busy for me, only used two colors , three if you count the neutral basket .

7B74327B-D7D0-4351-AB0E-BE9248A89158_1_201_a

The basket is two layers so I could have a smooth underside and tuck in some of the grass and bunnies. I lightly added some glitter to the basket ( mostly because I got a glue smudge on it) Below you can see the color pads I used for the basket and the grass.   I staggered three layers of the grass, then gave the grass a bit of a trim to shorten the blades of grass. I ink blended the white embossed panel with a light pink , using oxide inks and blending brushes.

39222B86-FD0F-478A-817E-2D673776E0CF_1_201_a

I used memory box colors, Earth Neutral and Lush Green, both linked below. I so love having all the colors of the beautiful new paper pads.

3F6CA652-F78E-4589-9324-153CC231D909_1_201_a

Long time ago I needed the long plates ( big shot) for a die I had (never needed again until now) and boy or boy am I glad I kept them and or have them. You don't have to have them for slimline cards but it its nice.

I used the die : Leafy Vines Slim Plate to Emboss not cut , all you need to do is use the sandwich for embossing so that it won't cut. The black is a thin embossing pad. I then adhered the : Slim Leafy die to the pink panel.

I really like the way this turned out even with my little mistake because I always love some added glitter.

We've been blessed with some beautiful sunny weather and now we will be getting some much needed rain.

Hope you have a wonderful week. God bless you all.

Appliqué With Craft Dies and a Birthday Card
by Marybeth Lopez

4FE075F7-18FC-44B1-BD87-CC53C0F3CB30_1_201_a

Hello and happy March to you all!  Marybeth Lopez  here today , sharing a birthday card and an appliqué pot holder/ mug rug ,using Poppystamps craft die.

I often use a few I my craft dies on quilting projects , so I thought I would share a few with you today using the amazing Poppystamps die called Woven Basket Pop Up Easel Set.

AEE1E415-80B7-478C-A39B-A4220BA72D4F_1_201_a

You can lose some of the detail when cutting material,  ( but main shape still very nice) most of the larger dies cut cloth very nicely . I just used my machine stitch to appliqué onto the material then went ahead and layered my small project.

087CDF56-6DF5-46A7-8CDD-D07A155C0E50_1_201_a

As you can see above, the detail in this die is amazing. Nine craft dies included in the set .

2EF4EDFF-E5B5-4CC8-AC97-D17257F3D196_1_201_a

I also used the Farm Fresh Eggs die on one of the mug rugs/ hot pad. A mug rug is just something to set your coffee mug on while holding on your lap.

8D711CEB-80AF-4A2E-ABA4-694606A7F41E_1_201_a

For the birthday card , I used the new Poppystamps, spring line dies called Double Diamond Lattice Plate ( cuts like butter) . First cut turned out perfectly.

I used one layer of the memory box Spring Plaid patterned paper and adhered it to my base .

184F9A2F-421F-4027-9D11-27D90269EBE7_1_201_a

I used one of the many new paper packs( so many beautiful colors) from memory box for the sentiment on my card. I layered my Happy Birthday sentiment twice then adhered to my front Lattice panel.
