Appliqué With Craft Dies and a Birthday Card
by Marybeth Lopez

Hello and happy March to you all!  Marybeth Lopez  here today , sharing a birthday card and an appliqué pot holder/ mug rug ,using Poppystamps craft die.

I often use a few I my craft dies on quilting projects , so I thought I would share a few with you today using the amazing Poppystamps die called Woven Basket Pop Up Easel Set.

You can lose some of the detail when cutting material,  ( but main shape still very nice) most of the larger dies cut cloth very nicely . I just used my machine stitch to appliqué onto the material then went ahead and layered my small project.

As you can see above, the detail in this die is amazing. Nine craft dies included in the set .

I also used the Farm Fresh Eggs die on one of the mug rugs/ hot pad. A mug rug is just something to set your coffee mug on while holding on your lap.

For the birthday card , I used the new Poppystamps, spring line dies called Double Diamond Lattice Plate ( cuts like butter) . First cut turned out perfectly.

I used one layer of the memory box Spring Plaid patterned paper and adhered it to my base .

I used one of the many new paper packs( so many beautiful colors) from memory box for the sentiment on my card. I layered my Happy Birthday sentiment twice then adhered to my front Lattice panel.

So many beautiful new Spring products at Poppystamps , happy shopping . God bless you all.

Leafy Vines Slim Card
by Marybeth Lopez

Hello and Happy almost Saint Valentine's Day to you.  Marybeth Lopez here today with a slim line card using one of the brand new Poppystamps  Spring 2021 die, called Leafy Vine Slim Plate. It cuts like butter so very easy even with all those pieces. The stamp is also from Poppystamps called Dimond Sentiments Set with the die .

As you can see I added some shading and glitter to my layered card.

The die measures ( 3.6 x 8.6 inches) ( 9.1 x 21.8 cm.) I made my folded card just a tiny bit bigger or you can make it fit right on top.

I placed the die cut panel on top of a pice of paper  just a bit smaller , then shaded some of the panel in with a blending brush.

After I stamped the die cut sentiment I did a bit more shading on the edges and then decided to add glitter to.. mostly the outer images.

This photo above shows, a bit of  how pretty the glitter looks in real life.

After creating this card I had so many more new ideas, guess that will be for another  time.

Take care and God bless . Happy Crafting friends !

Slimline Hearts
by Marybeth Lopez

Hi there, Marybeth Lopez  here today to share another slimline card with you..... because they are just fun to make.  I used : Poppystamps die called Twinkling Hearts and some beautiful soft glitter paper from Memory box , called Delicate Pastel . Both linked below

I placed the die on the panel and cut it 3 times turning it each time just a bit. I cut and glued 3 different colors from the glitter pad then die cut three more times (mostly just the hearts)

I took many different turns with this card and ended up with a clean and simple card( again) :) The top panel measures 3 3/4  x 9 the folded pink card measures  just a bit more than the white panel.

Hard to capture the beautiful shimmer of this soft glitter paper, hope you can see.

Thank you for the visit today, and may God bless you all.

Merry Christmas
by Marybeth Lopez

Hello friends, Marybeth Lopez  here today , sharing this  Merry Christmas card with white and plaid.

I hope and pray you are all doing well  and finding lots of time to create. It's a blessing to have this craft that we all share.

One of my favorite Christmas , patterned paper pads this year has been the Dashing Holiday patterned paper from memory box, linked below.

I think this will carry me right into February as well.

I simply cut the die once , glued only the lower edge and a few of the lower foliage. I didn't glue the entire die.  I added some glitter and heat embossed the sentiment. The Leafy Garden Border from Poppystamps can be used for anytime of year. The simple set is from Poppystamps and called : Christmas Fun.

The products above are the only ones I need for this glittery Christmas card.

I hope you stay healthy safe, have a very joyful, and peaceful Christmas and holiday season.

 May God bless you all.

Gel Press Christmas cards
by Marybeth Lopez

Hi there! Yes , the cards are made with Poppystamps stencils but in a new way.  I had a few minutes to check out Jennifer McGuire  blog  and saw a new technique using a gel pad . I was able to get one quick from Amazon. So I gave it a try with stencils.

I placed  the gel pad on my MISTI then inked up the gel pad just using the ink pad, then place the stencil on top. I then cut a panel and placed that on top to the stencil, and pressed over the back of the panel.  The stencil below is from Poppystamps  called Bright Blossom ( looks a bit like a poinsettia to me)

When I took the stencil off this is what I got( above)  It was kinda fun and a new way to use stencils for me.

The stencil above is is called : Leafy  Rows , I did this one the same way.

I was pleased with the way they both turned out and simple and easy to mail , especially this time of year.

I added glitter to both cards for a bit of shimmer , I always love shimmer or glitter for Christmas ( or any card :)

Take care and God bless.

Peace This Christmas
by Marybeth Lopez

Hi there , it will be Christmas before you know it! If you need some quick  and easy cards , this might just work for you. Easy to mail as well.

I used Poppystamps dies and stamps, along with glitter paper and die  from memory box, all linked below.

I chose these monotone colors from the Holiday Glitter Pad. I used the lightest colors for the trees and the mail panel. There are many beautiful colors in that pad.

The trees came out very nicely with the metal shim from Poppystamps.

Pictured above are the products I used also linked and listed below.

I love that the memory box Wrapped Stitch looks so elegant on the paper, it comes with five different sizes . I used the second largest.

some of my trees are layered for a bit of depth and because I had extra, still nice for mailing .

I hope every one here in USA has a wonderful blessed Thanksgiving, May God bless you all everywhere!
