The rules are simple - just create a project following the theme, use at least one Poppystamps image or die, and link it up here. The design we love best will receive our winner badge to proudly display on their blog, and one lucky random winner will receive a prize. You don't have to have a blog to play.  You can link to any online gallery. In fairness to other players, we reserve the right to remove entries that do not use at least one Poppystamps image. We ask that you link a maximum of  3 entries to each challenge. You are welcome to link your design to other challenges. Grab our badge to post on your blog post or sidebar!

I used the same products as I did in the card I posted a few weeks ago, So I used the same photo.  The one below is from a few weeks ago.

Same Poppystamps dies and 6x6 paper pack but used just a bit differently .  The card below has all three layers of the bloom on it and above only two layers and less blooms

IMG_7307
I love the pops of soft orange with the pinks but think I like less flowers. What do you think?

Hello! I have been a card maker since 2007 and find so much joy in creating AND sending Happy Mail!  I live on beautiful Old Cape Cod with my Hubby of almost 36 years. We have an amazing daughter and son-in-law and 2 fabulous little granddaughters, Penny 6 and Evie 2 months. Penny is becoming quite the card maker! (finally, someone to leave my craft room to lol). I am very happy to be Guest Designing here at Poppystamps! So FUN!!! And if I had to describe my card making style I would say.....eclectic.....I do a little bit of it all! Thanks for having me!

Blooms and Frames
by Marybeth Lopez

IMG_7330

Hello and Happy almost May. Marybeth Lopez  here with you today using Poppystamps new Scallop Rings and Nordic Bellflower dies. Love this round scalloped frame you can use in many ways.

IMG_7331

I used watercolor card stock for my card because I love the texture and firmness of it. The base of the card is regular card stock. I loved using the patterned paper from memory box 6X6 paper pad . Also loving the bits of shimmer from the gold.

IMG_7400

The package of Greeting Tabs couldn't be easier to add to any card. One of my favorite new products this spring. I added two to this card , now I kinda wish I added a third. As you can see the bloom has three layers to each flower, but I only used two layers per flower. I felt the patterned paper added enough dimension to the flowers.  I kept it simple and didn't add the leaves either.  I let the blooms and the frame shine.

I hope you have a wonderful  week and find some time to craft . God Bless and may you find peace and joy in each day.

Happy Easter
by Marybeth Lopez

IMG_7101

Hello , friends of Poppystamps . Marybeth Lopez here with you today using some of the new Spring Line from Poppystamps . I used Nordic Lacy Plate , Nordic Majestic Bloom and  Proper Happy Easter. I also used two 6X6 paper packs from  memory box : Sunrise and Greenery. I love the new papers and the color is solid ( not white on the inside.

IMG_7074

I mostly only took out the egg shaped cut out on the Nordic Lacy Plate , you can poke out more ( like the dots) . I chose less  because I only wanted to see a tiny bit of the green in the background  .

IMG_7102
I used Nordic Majestic Bloom for the single flower. I layered it using the Sunrise paper pack , that made picking the shades of color very simple.  I used the same Green on my Happy Easter as I used in the background . I am not used to a busy background but I think this one is ok.

Thank you so much for the visit today. I hope everyone has a blessed Easter ( if you celebrate) Hope you find some time to create .

Cheerful Bouquet
by Marybeth Lopez

IMG_6759

Hello Poppystamps friends, Marybeth Lopez  back with you today.  Can you believe  we are at the end of February already! Oh my goodness time is going by so quickly . I hope you are all doing well and enjoying your crafty time.

I have a a Stencil and Embossed card for you today. I used my own inspiration (Here)  because I loved how the first one turned out.  I love this memory box Embossing folder and Art Stencil brand new for spring  (anytime)

IMG_6756

As you can see in the picture below I used the die that came with the embossing folder and placed it in the center to be embossed. I used  the  same  watercolor  card stock  uncolored.

I didnt want to hide any of the beautiful details .

IMG_6680

I will be honest here, I went a bit out of the lines because I forgot about the edge . I decided to just fussy cut the outside of my embossed design and layer it on top of watercolor paper.

In the end I think it was a happy mistake.  I used dabbers with my Oxide Distressed Inks Tim Holts.

IMG_6761

I added a few black dots here and there for just a bit more detail.

IMG_6755
When you use distress oxide inks , if you are not happy with the color , most time you can just go over and change the color . I did that with the blue and yellow this time.

IMG_6765

I hope I have given you some inspiration to go shopping and or enjoy the Poppystamps products you already have. We have brand new products you might just want to take a peek.

Take care and may God bless and bring you peace and joy in each day.

I added some fun foam to the back of the heart using one of the smaller hearts to cut it out. The main heart was cut out with memory box woodgrain cardstock. I then added the little scalloped frame that is part of the same die set called :Scallop Pinpoint Hearts from Poppystamps .

IMG_6416

The two darling birds are from the January release of Poppystamps and it's called Nordic Bird Bunch. So fun to play with. I could resists using  the patterned paper from memory box also ( my last card)  from the Christmas collection called Poinsettia Garland PP1024. I used Poppystamps Foil and Cut die set called Modest Greetings2 PSF808
