Ghostly Boo
by Marybeth Lopez

Boo to you! Hello, Marybeth here today, sharing this simply fun Halloween Boo card.

I use Poppystamps Boo Outline , Squeaker Ghost and memory box Frosted Glitter Pad.

I cut out these cute little guys a few times, as I wanted a bit of a shadow and thicker texture so they would stand out on the white panel.

Again I kept this clean and simple with only two colors, that way star of this card would be the word die and the sweet little Ghost.

I keep some of my dies together, much easier to keep in one place .

Thank you for visiting us here at Poppystamps today, I hope you find some inspiration to shop and create . I know this craft we all share has been a great blessing during these difficult times.

We are still very smoky with active fires to the east and west of where I live. I miss the blue sky and pray for so many including the firefighters! Did you know many firefighters sleep on the ground or top of the firetruck when fighting the fires. They are awesome!

Take care and God bless!

Whittle Pumpkin Witch
by Marybeth Lopez

Hello there from smokey California, Marybeth here today. I made this very clean and simple card ( love), using the darling Whittle Pumpkin Witch from Poppystamps .I was very happy when I opened up the die, that it had extra dies for the clothing and broom. I only needed to cute twice to layer  with the Frosted Glitter from memory box.

The sentiment is from Poppystamps called Halloween Ingredients clear stamp set. I used watercolor cardstock for the white panel and glitter paper (linked below) for the background  panel.

I cut the die a few times so I could see what colors I wanted to use. I ended up only using two colors to keep the card even more clean and simple. Don't you just love the detail on the pumpkin and broom!

Sorry orange sky so hard to get a good bright pictures as I use natural light .

Happy I took a few pictures before the smoke got so bad. Hope you have fun crating for Halloween, one of my many favorite times to create!

I hope you are all doing well , my heart goes out to all those affected by the fires..... its been horrible this year.

Take care and God bless !

Birdhouse Thank You
by Marybeth Lopez

Hello there ! Today I used the darling , Poppystamps : Bird House Pop Up Easel Die  Set. I only used the birdhouse today for my card within the Easel. Such a fun set and can be used in so many ways.

This is another fun die  from Poppystamps that can be used anytime of year for any occasions.

I cut a few of the birdhouses out of fabric to appliqué on a quilt . I didn't  use it on this card today but I wanted to show you just how nicely these dies cut fabric. I just added my metal shim for a clean cut.

To make the extra trim on the lower edge of the birdhouse I cut it out twice , just turned the die around to cut again, as pictured above.

I used some of the beautiful, 6 x 6 patterned paper packs from : memory box . All the paper is linked below in the supply list.

Such a fun die... again with many possibilities. I hope you are all doing ok in these trying times.

God bless you all.

Pretty Pink Bloom
by Marybeth Lopez

Hello crafty friends! August 9th already!!!! Wow. Hope you are healthy, happy and well! Crazy times make me even more grateful for this craft we all share.

This is one of the new Christmas dies from Poppystamps Its called Stained Glass Poinsettia , I wanted to make a pretty pink card that was not for Christmas and could be used any time. I cant wait to make a set of this one in many happy colors!T

At first I wasn't sure if I way going to use vellum so I cut lots and then decided I liked the look of plain white cardstok instead.

I used memory box 6 x 6 paper pad for the background called Cottage Stripes and Dots pp1004

Above is a picture of the die , paper and packaging.

So not just for Christmas anytime of year! I hope you have a blessed August.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Birthday Card Set
by Marybeth Lopez

Hello, I hope you are enjoying this month of July.

I have an easy to make set of cards to share with you today using the Poppystamps : Friendship and Kindness clear stamp set.

You place the stamp once.... then move the panel up the same amount of grid squares each time.

I placed the two stamps in my MISTI and figured out how far I would need to move my panel up after each color. I moved my card base up about 6 grid marks each time . You place the stamp on your MISTI and never move it only move the card base and change to the color you want.

Above is how I layer my card.... card base, foam pad, then the top panel.

This  set of cards was so easy to create, once I figured out where I wanted to start out for this : Happy Birthday stamp . I had so much fun creating the first card I decided to make 4 more in different colors with matching card base.

I hope you have a creative and blessed day.

Brilliant Rings Background
by Marybeth Lopez

Hello and happy July to you, I hope it's going to.. only get better! :)

I wanted a sunny and bright card with warm summer colors, I love this honeycomb patterned paper . I had fun playing with Poppystamps : Brilliant Rings craft dies and Memory box Patterned paper .

I choose the patterned paper  from memory box : Springtime Bouquet and Garden Folly.

I cut a bunch up and then placed them where I wanted on my panel. When I liked where they were placed, I adhered them down .

After I had all the circles adhered to my panel I turned it over and trimmed with my paper cutter, as seen below. Very simple card and fun way to show off some of the patterned paper we all have .

I cut a strip of vellum and heat embossed my .. thank you ... sentiment from memory box : Wild Rose and die set.

This is a different kind of card for me.  I think since I have recently  taken quilting back up I wanted to blend patterned paper together like I do with fabric.

I hope you are enjoying extra craft time as most of us are home more than normal.

Take care and God bless.
