Elegant Whittle Cats By Teresa

Hi Friends! Glad to be on the Blog today sharing my elegant Whittle Cats card.

I knew the minute I saw the Oval Fold Frame that I had to create something fun with this die.

I always start a project by coming up with a color scheme I like and go from there. I cut the Whittle Napping Cat and the Whittle Purring Cat from a dark gray and added black shading by ink blending and and pen details to their faces.

For the Oval Fold Frame, I cut that from blush pink and the Picket Tall Curve Border from the Vintage Pastel Mirror Pad 6x6 Pack. On the inside, I added a white A2 size panel, cutting the 4 1/4 side down to 4 1/8 so that the card could fold correctly. 

I used the cut out from the Oval Fold Frame and the extra oval Die that comes with the set, cut from white and ink blend some color onto this die cut.  I also added another oval behind with the same Vintage Pastel MirrorPad and the Basic Oval Set. This really made a nice frame when you open up the card!

  

The Sentiment is from the Modest Greetings 2 Foil & Cut set, hot foiled with gold.

Thinking of you Daisy by Teresa

Hello my Friends!! I'm Teresa and this is my first post for Poppy Stamps. I'm so excited to be part of this team and wonderful company.

My card today uses some of my favorite things...daisies and scalloped frames!! As you get to know me, you'll find that I love flowers and frilly stuff.

I started by cutting the Delightful Daisy Die 3 times. On one of the die cuts, I ink blended the leaves with 3 different greens. This set cuts out the center of the daisies separately, so I inked those with 2 yellows for highlights and shadows and glued those to the inked leaves die cut.

I glued the other 2 daisy die cuts to the inked one for dimension and stability.

I cut the Pinpoint Halfring Plate from a spring green cardstock and added the Largest Scalloped Stitch Frame with Foam Tape.

Lastly, I created the sentiment with the with the "You Are Amazing Poe Script Greetings Foil & Cut" set. Hot Foiling is so fun and I create with it as often as I can. It also gives such a beautiful and crisp look to the sentiment. 

And what's a card without a little bling!! The Fairy Gemstones in "Winter Fantasy" were the perfect choice to finish this off.
