Herd you had a Birthday by Meghan Kennihan

Hi Crafty Friends,
Since Father's Day is this month it's gotten me into trying to produce more Masculine Cards which is always a challenge. Today, I'm sharing a great idea for a manly birthday card using Poppy Stamps Country Barn Pop Up Easel Card and deer from the Whittle Forest Reindeer Kit. Both dies are so versatile for all occasions.

I used kraft paper for my barn and deer to give it the cabin/camping look. I added Distress Oxide Ground Expresso on the edges of my deer to make them pop from the cabin.

Hi Crafty Friends,
I created a winter scene using the Whittle Forest Reindeer Kit and Adelaide Snowflakes Dies. This kit is perfect for winter and masculine cards.

I started my card with a sheet of paper from the Stormy Blue 6x6 Paper pad and splattered it with Copic White and gold paint. I die cut 5 of the snow mounds from the kit to create a forest floor covered in snow then I added the trees in green plaid and basic forest green. I finished the card with the cute little deer and snowflakes in the sky.

Chocolate Cake by Marybeth Lopez

Hello, Marybeth Lopez  here today sharing a Chocolate Cake, Father's Day card .

It was hard for me to make a card without much color, I needed to keep it masculine as it a card for my husband.  His absolute favorite is chocolate cake. 

I used one layer of the Poppystamps , Floral Cake Pop Up Easel Set, for the top I used the Layer Cake Drip Icing. I was going to add glossy accents to make it shine but didn't have the time to wait for it to dry this time.

The leaves are also from the Floral Cake Set, I used the Mirror Pad cardstock  and love the way they turned out. 

For the sentiment I used the Poppystamps Foil and Cut Die Set ( love this set so much) . My drip frosting is layered three times and for the bottom frosting I just cut and layered a bit over each one till the end , then covered with the die cut leaves.

The products are shown above and all linked below. When I used my foil machine last time I made many at the same time so I would have lots  sentiments ready made.

Our 46th Anniversary happens to fall on Father's Day this year. It will be nice to celebrate my amazing husband on the same day.
