Love Note
by Michele K. Henderson

IMG_5063-wm

Hello Friends,

Love is in the air this month, so let's send a little love note with the Large Stitched Envelope and Postage, made with charming patterned paper from the Memory Box Cottage Meadow Paper Pack collection. I started with a card base cut from the Cottage Meadow pack that positioned the florals in the upper right hand corner. I cut the envelope in a coordinating pattern and folded it into the cutest little floral surprise.

Once the base and envelope were complete, I cut a selection of flowers from the Nordic Flower Heads in shades of pink and yellow. I added a small pink heart from the Scalloped Pinpoint Hearts, and a few tiny hearts from the Hearts Shining Arch in bright, coordinating colors.

The real star of my love note card are the pretty bird couple I created from the Nordic Bird Bunch, one of my favorite new sets from the Poppystamps latest release. I cur them in bright yellow, with the wings in black, white, and pale yellow. Every time I see them, I think about the very earliest birds of spring that I would see growing up in Wisconsin, the bright yellow finches circling around the hanging feeders. I love the details in these tiny dies.

After everything was cut, I arranged it all on my card and topped it off with a few fairy gemstones. My cheery little love note is ready to go.

Thank you all so much for joining us today!

Letters for Santa
by Michele K. Henderson

IMG_4962-wm

Hello Friends,

Did you get your letter in to Santa? Christmas is only DAYS away, but Santa is still reading those joyful letters filled with holiday spirit and cheer. The new Large Stitched Envelope & Postage is the perfect way to send Santa a little love. Take a look!

IMG_4961-wm

I started with a beautiful pattern sheet of paper from the Garland paper pack. The dark background color and the cascade of wintery flowers really made my shiny white envelope pop. I added a shiny glitter gold frame, and cut three flowers from the Layered Petals. I cut three branches Leafy Branch Oval and added the berries from the Layered Holly Leaf Trio.

I added a shiny green Layered Holly Branch, and a few branches from the Nordic Foxes too! Tiny blue and white Flock of Birds sit joyfully on the leaves.Finish it off with a few Fairy Crystals and Gemstones and send it off to Santa!

From all of us to all of you, cheers for a happy and healthy holiday season!

Is this sentiment not the best! Once it's in my head, it stays there a good while! Pair it with the happy little Holiday Corgi and you have yourself a fun and festive card!

The Large Envelope was the perfect size for him. He looks quite content tucked in there just waiting to spread some holiday cheer. His reindeer antlers bring even more fun to the mix!

A few wispy Wide Pine branches and glittery snowflakes add to the merriment of this card. The tiny gold hearts adorning the envelope came from the sentiment. I don't know anyone with a Corgi, but I think this will bring a smile to the recipient's face nontheless. I hope it brought one to yours!

Hello Fall
By Birgit Norton

Hello Fall2

Hello Poppystamps fans, Birgit here with you today!  I'm overjoyed to bring you my first post as a new design team member for Poppystamps.

Hello Fall2

Don't you just love the new fall release?  I started by running the Pinpoint Rings through my die cutting machine on a Kraft cardstock A2 size card base.

Hello Fall2

I cut the Large Stitched Envelope out of black cardstock, filling it with several Whittle Oak Leaf, cut from orange and soft butter cardstock.  I tucked in a couple of the Mushrooms & Toadstools, and finished the card off using Marzipan Alphabet to create my sentiment.

Hello Fall2

I wish you the happiest fall season!

Another Clean and Simple All-Die Cuts Card!
by Sphoorti

Hello Poppy Peeps!

It's Sphoorti again! Remember my post from the other day? I made another card that's very similar with the extras I had leftover, and stepped it up just a bit.

This one's also clean and simple, and completely made with just die cuts. No stamping whatsoever!

I ran the 2464 Marzipan Alphabet craft die multiple times through my Big Shot. All my alphabets were connected, so I ran them through to save time for the next time I might need some alphabets. I stacked a few letters together (just random ones, but with at least two glued together for extra dimension). I stacked the letters H and E and Y about five times for some extra dimension. I used Candied Apple and Picked Raspberry Distress Inks to color the H, E, and Y.

I cut some silver mirror card stock using the 2478 Scalloped Stitch Frames craft die and adhered one of the frames to my card panel.

Then I used the 2530 Large Stitched Envelope and Postage craft die to cut an envelope out of vellum. I kept the top flap of the envelope open. I adhered some alphabets inside the envelope and also foam mounted the envelope by adhering some foam tape discreetly behind the alphabets in the envelope.

I took the colored H, E, and Y, and adhered them in a way that it looks as if they're coming out of the envelope. I coated them with glossy accents for some shine.

The card looked a little barren to me, so I adhered a bunch of little enamel hearts in red and white coming out of the envelope. And that was it!

Hi there! I'm here today sharing a few of the new release products now available in the shop! The Whittle Purring and Napping Cats are so cute!

23 0726 004 copy

This sweet feline is 'purrfectly' happy nestled into the new Large Stitched Envelope smelling all the bejeweled flowers. I cut her from vanilla cardstock then added her markings.

23 0726 003 copy

Her brother, just as cute, tucked himself behind a large flower for a quick cat nap! This punny sentiment is part of the previously released Whittle Adorable Kitty set.

The envelope die set comes with two sweet little postage dies. The cats are sold separately, but you know you'll want them both!

When I designed this card I hadn't planned on using a frame. It needed a touch of oomph so I added the Scalloped Stitch Frame.  Cutting it from the same vanilla cardstock used on the card base gave it just what it need without distracting from the focal images.

Pop over to the shop to check out the other new release items. I have a feeling this sweet pair (and a few other goodies!) will be going into your cart!
