My name is Beatriz Jennings, I fell in love with scrapbooking when I was looking through a magazine and saw all of the beautiful things that you can do with paper. Right now I'm in love with card making, mini albums, digital images and altered art. I have been scrapbooking for more than 17 years. I love to use ribbon, buttons, and flowers on most of my creations. I don't know how to describe my style, but some people say that is a little bit romantic, feminine, and shabby Chic.

2023-06PSC#105 Just Add Foil!  This month we're asking you to add a little foil bling to your designs.  Hot foil dies are awfully popular now, but there are still lots of other ways to add foil glamor to your design.  You can die cut foil cardstock, use patterned paper that already has foil applied, adhesive applied foil and even pieces of gold flake that look like foil.

Projects can be for any occasion, and you're not limited to making cards.  We welcome home décor, page layouts, tags and everything in between!  It's your choice, just be sure to use at least one Poppystamps die on your project!  You must use a Poppystamps product to be eligible to win!

I live in the Midwest with my amazing husband, two awesome college age children, and also two of the most adorable dogs you have ever seen, and my daughter’s cat - I called her Miss Kitty. I work as a communications specialist. I have always been a creative being, and I started making cards when my kids were very young and I couldn’t just run out to the card store every time I needed a card. I fell madly in love with cardmaking!  When I’m not working or creating, I enjoy making special treats for people (like caramels or cookies) going to the movies, and going on family hikes!  I love to read and crochet too! I am so thrilled to be a guest designer at Poppystamps!!!

PSC#103 Die Cuts Only!  Did you know that Poppystamps was started by the owners of Memory Box as a way to teach their children about the family business?  The kids helped design the dies and handled the shipping and inventory .  That's one of the reasons you'll find lots of cute critters in the Poppystamps collection of craft dies  and stamps!   This month we'd love to see your projects featuring  animals, reptiles or birds.   Projects can be for any occasion, and you're not limited to making cards.  We welcome home décor, page layouts, tags and everything in between!  It's your choice, just be sure to use at least one Poppystamps die on your project!  You must use a Poppystamps product to be eligible to win!

Meet our March guest selected and introduced by Jeanne from our Design Team!   It's true that opposites attract because I have been an admirer of Joyce's clean style for years!  It amazes me how she can make a die cut or stamp the focus of attention with no distraction on her clean white backgrounds.  I am jealous of her "less is more" craft style that is always "just right" simple perfection!

I live in a small beach town, just north of San Diego with my husband and rescue pup, Sherlock. I started making cards over ten years ago, drawn in by the magic of heat embossing. I quickly embraced all the other fun things to buy, sort and organize as part of the card making hobby. My style is mostly clean and simple, and I really love the combination of bright and vivid colors with lots of white space in the background. When I am not making cards, I enjoy exercising with Peloton, volunteering with my dog, knitting, reading and traveling.

PSC#101 Me & You!  What's better than time spent with your favorite person?  I mean besides making!  Nothing right?   This month we want you to show us some love - perhaps a Valentine, or something that celebrates the things that  you and your sweetie love to do together.  Projects don't have to be to a significant other, love comes in all shapes and sizes and everyone enjoys being loved and appreciated.  You're not limited to making cards.  We welcome home décor, page layouts, tags and everything in between!  It's your choice, just be sure to use at least one Poppystamps image (stamp or die) on your project!

Meet our February guest designer selected and introduced by Nancy on our Design Team.  Colleen became a friend during a stay at the Craft house in Kansas.  I came to love her joy for crafting and her faith in our Lord! She is so talented, and introduced me to some wonderful products (I know, dangerous crafty friends!), and we have kept in touch ever since. I know you'll enjoy her beautiful card, and be sure to send her some love!

Hi, I am Colleen and I live in Oregon with my husband of 51 years! I have two daughters, one lives next door to me with 4 children (21-19-15–2 years!) and the other daughter lives 1 ½ miles from me with 3 children (23-15-13) I love making cards and mailing them to family and friends. I sell the cards to my bible study ladies and donate all the money to good causes. This year I was able to purchase 21 winter coats for children ages 3 – 14 along with knitted hats and gloves for them. I am so thankful I can provide the cards and then give back to others. I am blessed and I have met so many wonderful friends through this community of card makers. It has enriched my life and blessed me more than I ever imagined!
