Spring + Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! by Robin Tharaldson

You know crafting and coffee go hand in hand, right?  Then you need to check out Amy Tsuruta's Spring + Summer Blog Hop!   It's the perfect way to combine two of your favorite things!  Poppystamps is one of MANY sponsors for the event; that means if you play along you could win a $20 gift certificate to the Poppystamps store!  My "coffee" inspiration is a quick treat box made from coffee themed paper and of course, filled with chocolate covered espresso beans!!

My box was easily made using WeR Memory Keepers 1 2 3 Punch board along with Poppystamps Pointed Circle Frames and Pinpoint Main Street Tags dies!

The final box size is 4" x 4" x 4" which is quite BIG and I just HAD to purchase more espresso beans to fill it completely!!!  A simple wrap of twine to close my box, plus the addition of a tag and my treat box was finished! Here is a video to sho you how make your own treat box!

Do you love Coffee?  And you love crafting too?  Then you need to check out Amy Tsuruta's Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop!   It's the perfect way to combine two of your favorite things!  Poppystamps is a sponsor for the event - that means that if you play along you could win a $25 gift certificate for the Poppystamps store!  I made a pretty shaker card to share today!

I started by creating a soft pink background with Spun Sugar distress ink.  I splattered it with water, and then again with some watered down Picked Raspberry.  Finally it got a splash of white ink.  I created a shaker using the Merry Christmas Tag.  I filled it with pretty sequins from Birch Press Design.  This sequin collection is called My Valentine.  If you look close you will see little hearts mixed in with the pink and red sequins.

I stamped a pattern on the Morning Cup die using a stamp from the Flourish Blooms Stamp set.  I stamped this in Tumbled Glass distress ink and then added a shadow of ink on the saucer.  Don't you love that dollop of whipped cream on top? 

The holly and pine is just two dies - the Greenery Bundle and Perfect Pine Needles.  I added some pearls to make the berries dimensional.
