Garden Variety Release Blog Blitz by Sue McRae

Welcome to another day of our Garden Variety Blog Blitz! Hope you’ve been enjoying all the amazing projects created by the design team!

I’m showcasing the Flora Bloom Solid Set which includes 5 dies. I only used the 2nd largest die on my card today. I die cut the bloom from white card stock, placed the new Whittle Spinner Background Die on top of the die cut and sent it back through my die cutting machine so it could add the swirly cut line design into the flower. I really love how this looks.

Next I took Distress Inks to add colour to the flower. I spritzed the flower with Perfect Pearls for some added shimmer and added gems to the flower centre.

I cut a piece of patterned paper from the new Garden Folly paper pack and adhered it to my card base and stamped my sentiment. I added a frame from white card stock using the Double Stitch Rectangle Frames set, added my flower and tucked in the new Adriana Small Curve Border behind it. I finished off with a butterfly from the Intricate Cut Butterflies set.

Garden Variety Release Blog Blitz Love and a dog by Tina Wilstrup

Hello everyone, and welcome to another Blog Blitz post. That means lots of chances for you to get your hands on Poppystamps products. Please see details below. Today I've kept it fairly simple since the pandemic that is still going on meant my new products arrived late (yesterday, but who's keeping score, lol). But I'm super excited it got here, so I could show you this new Whittle Cutie Dog die.

I cut a panel, sentiment and hearts out of some patterned paper. The Whittle cutie dog I cut from white cardstock.

Using a small piece of printer paper I protected one area of the doggie while ink blending over the other. 

I layered 3 different colors, and finished off with a black marker for the eyes and black nuvo drops for the nose.

I put the love cut out together using both glitter and patterned paper. Before adhering it I stamped the sentiments to go with it. This sentiment is so true to me! I adhered the dog and then both the positive and negative heart cut outs. Also cut from that gorgeous glitter paper.

Hello everyone, do  you love butterflies! would you like a chance to win. Intricate Cut Butterflies. from our new Spring Collection. read on!

I decided to use just Ivory coloured card and this pretty embossing folder from Memory Box..Magnificent Sunflower..along with Washi Tape..Cornelia Aqua..

I have embossed on a card size. 7.1/4 inches x 6 inch  ..this will also be the finished card size.

I layed the die to find the position onto the embossed flower. Double Stitch Rectangle.

Identical size card to the embossed card.

Disregard the center panel. using double sided tape adhere the frame .. using 3D foam tape on the reverse .. Adhere to the embossed main panel.

Onto Ivory card ..Adhere the Washi Tape. big enough to cut a frame.

Adhere onto the ivory frame.

Two layers of butterflies cut from the same frame.& Happy Birthday.. I have used ..Fairy Sugar ..Mint Frost..to the embossing.. ..finish with a delicate bow onto the large butterfly.

Garden Variety Release Blog Blitz by Dana Kirby

Good Morning Friends! Are you loving all of the New Garden Variety Products that the design team has been showcasing? It is such a great release with so many wonderful new products. Today for the Blog Blitz we are giving away the Flora Blooms Die Set. I will have all of the details below on how to enter.

For my card, I started by die cutting the Floral Blooms and Flora Bloom Solids Set from the Delicate Pastel Glitter Pad. I love how these two die sets can be layered and work so well together. A perfect match!

For my card base, I die cut the Circle Fold Frame from white cardstock. I then used the Small Curve Background Die and die cut it from the same soft pink glittered cardstock. Lastly, I die cut Scallop Small Curve Border Die from white cardstock. Once again, these dies layer and work perfectly together. Also, I wanted to mention that I used a liquid adhesive to glue my glittered die cuts together. I have found a strong liquid glue works the best. 

Next, I attached my Circle Fold Frame to a cardstock base and layered my pieces to create my card. 

Lastly, I stamped my sentiment directly onto my card base. For my sentiment, I used the Whittle Sayings Stamp Set.

Garden Variety Release Blog Blitz by Dana Kirby

Good Morning Friends! Are you loving all of the New Garden Variety Products that the design team has been showcasing? It is such a great release with so many wonderful new products. Today for the Blog Blitz we are giving away the Flora Blooms Die Set. I will have all of the details below on how to enter.

For my card, I started by die cutting the Floral Blooms and Flora Bloom Solids Set from the Delicate Pastel Glitter Pad. I love how these two die sets can be layered and work so well together. A perfect match!

For my card base, I die cut the Circle Fold Frame from white cardstock. I then used the Small Curve Background Die and die cut it from the same soft pink glittered cardstock. Lastly, I die cut Scallop Small Curve Border Die from white cardstock. Once again, these dies layer and work perfectly together. Also, I wanted to mention that I used a liquid adhesive to glue my glittered die cuts together. I have found a strong liquid glue works the best. 

Next, I attached my Circle Fold Frame to a cardstock base and layered my pieces to create my card. 

Lastly, I stamped my sentiment directly onto my card base. For my sentiment, I used the Whittle Sayings Stamp Set.
