You Deserve the Best

Hello sweet Poppy peeps! It's Lisa here today and I'm so excited to share my cutie little card with you! I like to think of this pair of sweet foxes frolicking among the marigolds. Now I know those flowers aren't really marigolds, but we can pretend, right? After all, they are the color of marigolds!
When I look at where this card, began, it's a cute CAS card in itself. But you know me, I had to add some layers! The Criss Cross Heart Stencil was used on opposing corners. Next, I layered on the Nordic Petal Flower gluing down just the center. The plaid paper comes from the MB Nutmeg Plaid 6x6 paper pad. I liked the rusty hues that paired well with the little fox pair!
I tucked the darling Nordic Bundled Fox and The Nordic Happy Fox into the big bloom. You might think they look dressed a tad warm for June, but trust me, early June evenings here in Ohio can be chilly!
My "marigolds" are actually the Nordic Blooms set. I die cut them from the same vanilla cardstock used on the card base then Copic colored them. After playing around with placement, I glued them down using liquid glue.
Here's a close up of the Nordic Bundled Fox. See that sweet face, does it remind you of a cat? Well, the die sets include another tail that lets you turn him (or her!) into a cat! How fun is that?
My sentiment, stamped in chocolate brown ink, comes from the Hooray Stamp Set. So what do you think? Can you imagine this sweet pair frolicking among the marigolds? I hope so!
