Thank You by Lisa Elton

Hello friends! With the holidays behind us, I thought it would be a good time to share a thank you card with you. We all need those, right? Let me show you the steps I took to make this sweet floral card. Here we go!

First up, I stenciled a soft pink background using the Criss Cross Heart stencil on a white panel.

I popped this onto an A2 aqua card base.

I wanted to create a wreath on the card front so I used one of the Scallop Pinpoint Rings as a base. Next, leaves were die cut and added at even intervals for balance. 

My flowers (Nordic Flower Bunch ) were all die cut from white cardstock then colored with Copic markers. I did this because I wanted specific soft colors. They could also be cut using colored cardstock or even patterned paper. Some of the flowers and flower centers were popped up with tiny foam dots.

To bring a touch of January frost to the mix, I added in several platinum metallic leaves using the Nordic Stems die. Don't the look pretty? They really changed the look of this card!

A simple thank you sentiment, from the Memory Box Foil Greeting Tabs set, was my finishing touch. And there you have it! Thank you so very much for stopping by today. We love it when you do!

This is the cutest wreath, Lisa! I really enjoyed your presentation of the step by step. I didn't look ahead so each photo was a special treat along the way. The finished card is pure delight!

I could not love this card more, Lisa. Your design is wonderful, but the colors are the star of the card. Incredibly well chosen and the metallic touch is just a big wow factor. Just FABULOUS!
