Happy New Year, everyone! It's Tricia here, and I'm excited to share a delightful shabby chic birthday card with you today! I had a vision of creating a charming dollhouse birthday scene, and I decided to use some lovely Christmas patterned paper that I still had on hand.

For the card panel, I chose the Memory Box Poinsettia Garland, which adds a beautiful touch. To create the playhouse, I used the Poinsettia Plaid paper alongside the adorable Large Mushroom House. To complete the scene, I incorporated a grassy border using the Nordic Delicate Border set, giving the card a whimsical and festive feel. I hope you enjoy this creative project!

To bring the birthday scene to life, I die cut delightful balloons and candles using the Corner Shoppe Birthday Celebrations die. For the cake, cupcakes, cake stand, and banner, I utilized the entire set of die cuts from the Corner Shoppe Birthday Treats. All the elements were cut from white cardstock and then brought to life with my alcohol markers. To add a touch of whimsy, I included the adorable Whittle Mouse, perfectly sized for the Mushroom House. This charming addition really completes the festive atmosphere of the card!

To complete my card, I add a happy birthday sentiment and banner from the Birthday Banners stamp and die set. For a bit of magic, I sprinkled Fairy Jewels to mimic smoke and add a little sparkle to the scene. Thank you for stopping by, and happy crafting!
