Dashing Through the Snow
By Lisa Elton
Hello and welcome! I have a festive holiday card to share today featuring the pretty Nordic Regal Deer set. Let me show you how it came together.

While the stickles I added to those snowy hills dried, I created the pair of deer. They were cut from kraft cardstock. I added a touch of shading to the buck to make him a little darker then colored his antlers and their hooves. If two this regal are going to dash through the snow, they have to do it in style! A matching pair of burgundy and gold sweaters was just what they needed!
A pretty chipboard sentiment rectangle (from our parent company, Memory Box) was added to the corner. It's gold lettering picks up the gold in the sweaters beautifully!
A small smudge lead to the cutting down of the background panel. No worries though, it still worked out! Our garage and front door cameras often pick up deer crossing our front yard and driveway. Maybe this fancy pair will make an appearance for the holidays! A girl can dream, right?
