Hello, Poppystamps friends! I am excited to be back on the blog today sharing this slimline card featuring the Nordic Layered Ornament set. This is a fairly clean and simple card, although I did do quite a bit of die cutting since I cut each individual piece of the ornaments out of a different color of card stock. I think it was so worth it!

As I mentioned above, each layer of each ornament was cut from a different color of card stock. I chose two tones of card stock for each ornament, and then I chose a pastel glitter card stock for the top layer. For the green ornament, I didn't really find a good pastel for the glitter layer, so I just took a piece of white glitter card stock and colored it with a pale green alcohol marker! I cut the ornament toppers out of silver card stock. I glued all of the ornament layers together and then I glued them onto a white card panel that measures 8.5" x 3.5". The overall card, including the black card base, is 9" x 4".

I cut the bows and strings from the Little Bow and String set using black glossy card stock. I LOVE this set so much! You can see that I changed the way I did the bows on the top three ornaments versus the way I did them for the bottom two. I obviously picked rainbow colors for my ornaments, but I arranged them with the warm colors on top and the cool colors on the bottom.

The sentiment comes from the Holiday Banners stamp set, which includes matching dies. I white heat embossed the sentiment on black paper. And that's it for my card today! I absolutely love how it came out, and I hope it brings a smile to your face. Thanks so much for joining us today.
