Happy Howlidays!
by Birgit Norton

IMG_8197Happy howlidays Poppystamps friends!  I couldn't let this Christmas season pass by without making a card using the darling dachshund duo from the latest release.  Let me show you how quickly this came together.

IMG_8193I started by cutting both the Sitting Dachshund and the Standing Dachshund out of the appropriate colored cardstocks and layering them together using liquid glue.

IMG_8194For the background, I cut the Nordic Treeline out of forest green cardstock and white.  Using my snipping shears, I cut the trees off the white panel, leaving me with the snowy hill, and layered the two together to create the wooded scene.

IMG_8195I found this snippet of snowflake paper in my scrap box and layered it behind the tree line and then realized that the background was too short for my card so I dug through the box of scraps and found another scrap of printed paper that seemed to go well and mounted  that to the bottom of the front panel, completing the background.

IMG_8196I added the two decked out dachshunds to the snowy center of the card and finished it off by adding the sentiment from Happy Howlidays to the bottom.

This is just too CUTE Birgit and totally makes me think of our middle daughters two pups Beamer & Royce! I love how you did the tree line and the little snippet of dsp for the bottom with the die cut sentiment...this all came together just beautifully!! Sweet, sweet card my friend!! Hugs. :0)
