Anything But A Card
by Lisa Elton

Hello friends, Lisa here today with a challenge reminder! This is an easy one as well as fun. You're invited to make anything but a card! It doesn't have to be a Christmas project. You're free to create whatever you like for any occasion. My project is of the Christmas variety, an idea I found on Pinterest. I plan to use them as tags on packages that can then be hung on the tree! Here's how they all came together.

24 1023 010 copyFirst up, I used the simple rings die to cut three circles. They were ink blended with light blue ink then topped with MB rub on snowflakes. Each of these was then backed with another white circle, their back sides together. This covered those little lines and creases you get on the reverse side of some die cuts.

24 1023 013 copyThe circles were then glued to the backs of  3" embroidery hoops. I purchased mine on Amazon.

24 1023 014 copyEach hoop was topped with a red bow from the Nordic Wreath set.

24 1023 016 copyA trio of sweet little trees from the Nordic Treeline went inside each ring.

24 1025 000 copyThin pine sprigs from the Simple Floral Bundle, cut from aqua and silver glitter cardstock, were tucked into the bows.

24 1025 001 copyEach scene got it's own hand cut snowy hill cut from glitter cardstock. This was adhered to the outside of the hoop to add more depth to the design.

24 1025 005 copyAnd finally the star of each show! First up the Sweet Nordic Snowman.

24 1025 006 copyHe's joined by his friend, the Nordic Bundled Bear!
24 1025 007 copyAnd finally, the Joyful Elf!

24 1025 004 copyThey all received a twine hanger. This was an easy process and they all went together very quickly! Now it's your turn. We can't wait to see what you create and share with us. Have a great day, friends!
