Wishing You Happiness

Sometimes, when you have just the right patterned paper, you don't need a lot of elements to bring your card to life. That was the case when creating this card. After adhering a sheet of adhesive to the back of my MB Nutmeg Forest paper, I ran it through my die cut machine using the Nordic Floral Plate.

Using the smallest of the Double Scallop Stitched Frame dies for my focal area still lets plenty of that pretty paper show.

The sentiment I've chosen lets me use this card for several different occasions. It could work for a birthday, anniversary, wedding or even retirement, don't you think?

To me, the icing on this cake, are those pretty little Nordic Oak leaves! I adore the layers on these and the fact that you get some teeny leaves in the mix as well. We have them in the store in the Maple leaf variety for you too! Just a few elements and some pretty paper were all this special card needed. Have a blessed day friends and thank you for your visit.

This is adorable Lisa! Nutmeg Forest is my favorite paper line to date. Each printed paper can easily be the star of the show, but the layered Nordic Oak Leaves do add a touch of whimsy to this sweet card.

Such a pretty card! I love embossing patterned paper and that scalloped panel and your little embellishments make this card extra-sweet!

Hi Lisa, This card is truly beautiful, the background patterned paper is gorgeous with the embossing and the frame and sentiment is so so beautiful.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Adding that lovely pattern to an already beautiful, patterned paper was genius, Lisa! you know how much I love 'debossing' - sprinkling those lovely leaves was truly the icing on the cake!

You had the perfect colors of paper to make your Nordic leaves accent the wonderful background, Lisa.

You had me at that embossed paper and pretty frame. Then you added those leaves and it went to WOW!

Embossing over that pretty paper made it even prettier Lisa, and I love how you framed the sentiment and added those whimsical and fun leaves to the mix too! Lovely, lovely card my friend!!

What a beautiful background this makes with the combination of paper and cover plate! You're right about those Nordic oak leaves -- the perfect finishing touch!

That coverplate adds gorgeous texture, Lisa! Love all the elements you've combined here for a stunning card!!

I so love this, Lisa. Each addition to that marvelous paper builds a most wonderful card. First, the background paper, then that awesome cover plate. Fabulous so far. Add the stitched frames and sentiment - looks so great. But those nordic leaves!!! Just the perfect touch. The colors are gorgeous and the sentiment is lovely. What a fantastic card!

Super pretty card, Lisa!

Very sweet card and I do love those leaves!
