Fall Terrarium
by Birgit Norton
Hello Poppystamps friends! Are you enjoying all the beautiful colors of fall yet? Here on the east coast, the leaves are brilliant shades of orange, yellow and red and many leaves have already fallen from the trees, leaving bare silhouettes of trees preparing for their winter slumber. I created this card using the newest release from Poppystamps.
The darling Cottage Terrarium dies practically jumped right into my hands when they arrived, beckoning to be used. I started with an A2 sized card base and attached a strip of the adorable mushroom printed paper from the Nutmeg Forest printed paper pack onto the right side of the card.
Next, I cut the house, mushroom and greenery out of white cardstock and colored them using Copic markers. The jar was cut from the Greenery Solid Core Cardstock and a scrap of grey cardstock for the lid. I also cut the jar layer out of vellum and adhered the vellum over the top of the green to soften the color. I then adhered the mushroom, house and greenery using liquid glue.
The Happy Fall Moonlight Script sentiment was cut from black and vellum and adhered slightly over the base of the jar.
To finish the card off, I added some Fairy Jewels in autumnal colors.
