Challenge Reminder - Anything Goes
by Allison Frazier

Allison Frazier Aug 24 challenge

Hello Poppystamps friends! I just wanted to remind you that there is still time to play along with this month's challenge. On the first of every month we announce the challenge, and you get most of the month to join us! Just link up your design with an on line gallery like Flickr, Splitcoaststampers or Instagram. We select one card that we like best as the monthly winner and then randomly select one entry as the winner of a $20 gift card to the store.

For this month's challenge, our theme is "Anything Goes." It can't get any easier than that, right? My card is a simple bucket of sunshine.

Aug 24 challenge 3

I started with one of the buckets from the Corner Shoppe Wooden Cart. I cut it from white card stock and blended it with a combination of gray and brown inks. I cut a bunch of flowers and greenery from the Flower and Leaf Sprinkles set and ink blended those with yellow, orange, and pink inks. I also cut and ink blended some small butterflies from the Bunches o' Butterflies set.

I created the white panel from the Double Scalloped Stitched Frames. I stamped the sentiment from the Colorful Life stamp set onto the panel and glued it to a Kraft card base. I then adhered all of my elements to the panel, mixing the butterflies with the flowers.
