Be Merry!
by Rachel Duong

Hi friends! It's Rachel here to share an adorable holiday card. Even though it is summer, it is never too early to begin your holiday crafting. I used the Poppystamps "Nordic Bundled Bear" and the "Nordic Treeline" dies.

To create this card I began by cutting out the bear in kraft, red, white, black and plaid patterned paper. After I glued the bear together I added foam dimensionals on the back to pop up the image.

Next I covered the white A2 cardbase with a Memory Box  "Yuletide Cheer" paper.

I die cut the "Nordic Treeline" in green, brown and white. I trimmed the trees off the kraft keeping the trunk and ground. I glued it in place. Trim off trees off the white copy. The only part of the white paper used is the ground.IMG_6174

Then I die cut the "Be Merry" sentiment in white and red. I double layered the sentiment to pop it up before going onto the cardfront.

Finally I added a red "Fairy Jewel" after the sentiment. IMG_6157

I can't wait to create polar bears and black bears. This bear is definitely a favorite die and has so much personality!IMG_6168
Until next time, don't forget to start your holiday projects now. There are so many amazing dies from the Poppystamps winter release. The bear is only one of them!

Hi Rachel, I truly love this card, the colours are typical Christmas and the background paper is beautiful, the die-cuts complete this card and create a fabulous scene, I love it.
