Whittle Tropical Gators Kit
by Birgit Norton

Good morning Poppystamps friends!  These happy gators have come to the Poppystamps shop to show you their lighter side.  They're not so scary at all when they're made of paper!  I've got a clean and simple, quick and easy card for you today using this friendly trio.  Let's get started!

IMG_7158I started by cutting the Whittle Tropical Gator Kit elements out of scraps of colored cardstock from my scrap box.  Poppystamps has made it very easy by grouping items together so you can cut the shapes out all in one pass of your die cutting machine.

Next, I highlighted and added color using blending sponges and Distress Oxide Inks, and assembled the pieces.

IMG_7160I made an A2 size card base and added a panel of this heat embossed raindrop pattern to the front.  Next I glued the die cut pieces, using the cover of the dies for inspiration.

IMG_7161There was plenty of extra space on the front of the card to add a sentiment, so I used the Colwell Label Set to cut a layered label and stamped one of the sentiments from the Whittle Tropical Gators Kit onto the white label.
