Thyme For Spring
by Meghan Kennihan
Hi Crafty Friends,
I hope this card inspires you to plant some fresh herbs and embrace your green thumb. I used Poppy Stamps Flower Pots and Stems to create these cute little herb pots.
Make Crafty Friends Q & A:
Q: Do you grow herbs? Which ones?
A: Me? No, but my sister grows a ton of basil and rosemary
I started my card by creating the background using Poppy Stamps Criss Cross Heart Stencil with Distress Oxide Mowed Lawn Ink and splattered with green and white paint.
I mounted the Poppy Stamps Scalloped Stitched Frames in two different shades of green cardstock and then mounted the entire background on a kraft cardstock card base.
I layered the cute flower pots with just the leaf dies to look like herbs in the center of my card and finished with the darling sentiments from the Poppy Stamps Spring Banner Stamps & Dies.

Hi Meghan, I love your card, and ideal card (colourwise) for St Patrick's Day, I love your die-cuts.
I have grown lots of herbs in the past but I didn't cut enough of them and they all went yucky, so now I buy them (sorry to say). I have just used lots of coriander in my recipe this evening for Salmon and Noodle stir fry thing (my own recipe), and it was mmmmmm gorgeous.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
