Happy Spring!

Hi Everyone! It's spring and have I told you how much I love the weather?! Not only that, but the birds chirping is music to my ears. I am back with another Poppystamps card using the "Nordic Bird Bunch!"  Casually sitting on a fence, these birds are enjoying a peaceful morning. Leftover die cuts on hand, these birds are from my Challenge Reminder post. Let's get started...

The "Nordic Bird Bunch" birds were die cut in glitter, pearlescent, and shades of blue and orange(for the beaks) paper. The Memory box paper packs are listed below.

I chose a patterned paper from the Memory Box "Anemone Grove" paper pack for the background. Next I ran an Open Studio embossing folder "Vintage Tray" through my die cutting machine with an aqua shade of blue cardstock. I cut the paper down to look like a fence and blended distress ink over the texture to enhance the lines. IMG_4860

I die cut a speech bubble from the Poppystamps "Word Balloons" set. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Poppystamps "Spring Banners" clear stamp set in black Versafine ink.

Putting the card together was fast. I glued the pattern paper on to a white card base and then the fence comes next in the lower half of the card. The birds are arranged with the sentiment and I glued it down when I was satisfied with placements.

I added Fairy Jewels in light turquoise nest to the sentiment and under the birds. Bakers twine in aqua and white tied in a double bow complete the card. Yay!

IMG_4879That's it for now. I hope you get a chance to craft and create peaceful spring makes. There are so many Poppystamps dies to choose from. See you soon, take care!
