Happy Birthday Bunnies
by Rachel Duong
Hi Friends! It's Rachel here with a birthday greeting from a bunch of adorable bunnies! The Poppystamps "Bunny Faces" die makes wonderful birthday and Easter cards.
To create this card, I began by die cutting the "Bunny Faces" base with a deep pink cardstock from the Memory Box "Berry Red" paper pack. Next I die cut the faces using a heavy white cardstock. Then I cut little strips of black to lay under the eyes. I adhered the pieces together.
For the frame, I chose a beautiful berry plaid paper from the Memory Box "Poinsettia Plaid" pad. The fine gold foiled lines are so eyecatching! I used the Poppystamps "Double Scalloped Stitched Frames" die to create the frame and used the reverse side for the background. I die cut a second frame to adhere with the plaid one for extra thickness.
I chose a dusty pink cardfront from the Memory Box "Berry Red" paper pack. I cut it just under an A2 size card and adhered it to a white cardbase. Next I assembled the bunnies on the frame and adhered it to the frame and cardbase.
For the final touches, I die cut the Poppystamps "Nordic Flourishes". I used the small flower shape to embellish the frame. I saved all the other pieces for another project! I used glitter pink, pearlized pink, pearlized off-white and dusty pink from the Memory Box "Declicate Pastel Glitter Pad" and the "Vintage Pastel Mirror Pad". Finally I attached an Open Studio extra thick, gold foiled "Greeting Tabs" sentiment on the frame!
I love how fun and easy it was to make this bunny card. I hope you get a chance to try this out. Also, I can't wait to create gift tags with these Poppystamps "Bunny Faces". They are the perfect size! Have a wonderful day and looking forward to seeing you all soon!
