With Love by Lisa Elton

Love is in the air as we begin the countdown to Valentine's Day! There's no better way to celebrate than with hearts and flowers. Well, maybe some chocolate too!

The Nordic Crown Flower and delicate Scallop Pinpoint Hearts were my jumping off point today. I used deep rich red, petal pink and plaid with shades of wine, pink and gold to create my blooms. I chose a lovely gold for my stem and leaves to compliment the gold lines from plaid paper.

The flowers were cut three times, once from each paper so I could mix and match them to create the regal blooms. I adore the tiny dots on all of the leaves! A simple foiled sentiment was tucked into the arrangement.

A lovely vintage jade cardstock foiled with the Criss Cross Heart Plate was the perfect complimenting color for this design. I do love the look of this color combination and I hope you do too!

Really lovely design, Lisa. I love the use of the patterned paper with cardstock. It adds such a pretty detail to the flowers!
