Pattern Hearts
by Marybeth Lopez

Hello , Marybeth Lopez here today. I hope you are all doing well. I can't believe it's going to be  February in a few days.

This is a fun way to use some of the beautiful patterned paper. This happens to be a Christmas pack but you can select many of the  non Christmas papers . It's called :Poinsettia Garland from memory box. The heart die is from Poppystamps and it's called Scallop Pinpoint Hearts.

So many blooms and beautiful shades of pinks, reds and bits of gold perfect for St. Valentines Day card.

I layered a few papers at a time and cut out lots of hearts , I only used the inside of the smallest heart in the set. I wanted you to see the scalloped edge, each heart has two pieces  (outer scalloped and inside heart)  you could always mix and match the outer with another inside.

I didn't measure just sort of eyeballed it.  The pillow I made was my inspiration for the card.

I made the heart pillow above a few years ago and thought why not make a card with the same layout . You can see it Here

I also love the bits of blue  and gold in the prints of paper from the 6 X6 pack.

Thanks so much for the visit. Be sure to check back with Poppystamps, they have some gorgeous dies coming up soon. Can't wait to use them.

Hope you have a blessed week and find lots of peace and joy in each day.

Hi Marybeth, Wow, wow, wow, I love, love, love your heart cushion and such an inspiration for your Valentine card with the gorgeous patterned hearts, I love these.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Love this simple heart pattern that showcases those beautiful paper bits. Reminded me that I have a heart applique quilt that needs finishing. And I need some soothing handwork right about now in this election cycle and all all the craziness that is going on in the world.. Thanks for sharing your inspiration.
