Two For One Nordic Foxes
By Lisa Elton
I have a pair of cards for you today featuring the darling Nordic Foxes. I pulled terra cotta, pink and gold cardstocks, created the foxes then decided where they should go! Lets break down each card.
This one is perched on the sill of the Arched Gothic Cathedral Window. The window was placed on foiled plaid paper with vellum added behind the bottom window openings. I wanted to soften the plaid here so the fox would stand out.
There are two layers to this window die and the detail is just beatuiful! I used ivory and dusty lilac cardstocks to create mine.
Golden sprigs and tiny flowers also adorn the window sill along with a greeting for a friend.
This sweet fox was added to a card base covered with the Nordic Floral Plate. I used ivory cardstock and left all of the pieces intact.
The die lets you use it as I did, interchange, mix and match pieces to add color or even remove pieces. A very versatile die for your collection!
I used a tag as a resting place for this fox. A tag you ask... why yes, it's the negative from the Cathedral Window die used on the first card!
I used the vanilla one to hold the sentiment on this card! You get a window die and tag dies all rolled into one. That's a win win!! Oh, and the pretty little decorative tag on this sentiment if from the Basic Junk Jouranl set. A splash of flowers to finish it off and add to the prettiness!

I just love the terra cotta with pink and gold. These two cards are delightfully sweet!!
Lisa, your little fox couldn't be cuter with those fancy tails! You have chosen such a beautiful trio of colors today! Such a gorgeous window that just keeps on being useful - I love that those negatives are tag-shaped!

Your Nordic foxes are SO sweet with their decorative tails Lisa and I'm loving your color combo too! Both of these cards are AWESOME my friend!! :0)
Hi Lisa, You have created two totally stunning cards.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
Sweet foxes and even sweeter backgrounds!
The color combination is wonderful, Lisa, and those fox tails are something else. Such great layouts on both cards.
Beautifully designed.
OMGosh, I love these cards so much! I may still need to indulge in this collection, but it's so hard to narrow down, sigh.
Adorable! I just bought several of the Nordic dies but I did not see these adorable dies -- you made a perfect card with these sweeties
Fabulous colours together Lisa. This fox is so beautiful and you've used him perfectly on both cards. So fun and lots to look at ... your designs are amazing, my friend! xx
Gorgeous pair of fox cards, Lisa!! Love how you've used the coverplate and that nordic fox is such a cutie, be it with flowers or window!!
The cards are so unique and different from each other, but the little fox looks perfect with both. A lovely set of cards, Lisa.
Oh my goodness, Lisa. These are just wonderful. I LOVE those little foxes and the wonderful ways you used them. I love both the Nordic and the plaid background. The sideways tag is such a great toruch, as are the cascading flowers. Brilliant use of that Cathedral window and that vellum is a great way to mute the plaid and let foxy stand out. LOVE everything about both of these!
