Festive Holiday
by Rachel Duong

Hi! It's Rachel here with a bright and shiny Christmas card. Are you ready for the holiday season? I definitely get into the spirit when I create cards with this beautiful Poppystamps Nordic Floral Plate die!

I die cut these Nordic floral shapes and backgrounds in gold glitter, platinum glitter, green glitter, red mirror, and chartreuse mirror fancy paper packs listed below. (Some of these shapes were already cut for a previous card I posted in November). I had so much fun playing around with the way I wanted to arrange the colors and textures.

Next I die cut the "Lavish Merry Christmas" sentiment in platinum glitter paper and the shadow in red mirror paper. Then I glued the florals down. Finally I glued the sentiment on the upper center of the card.

I love how this turned out. Placing the colors carefully together so that the balance and harmony of the overall card stayed true.

Using the left over pieces, I created this card and I am in awe of the chartreuse background.

Wow! Look at the shine, I just love it! It reminds me of Christmas lights!

This card is created on a solid black card front and I placed the die cuts in various, random places. They appear to be floating!

I hope you enjoyed these fancy cards. They sure take on a life of their own when placed under a light source. These Poppystamps dies are just gorgeous, I can't wait to try many color combinations. Until next time, take care and make sure  you save some time for happy crafting!
