Polar Bear Christmas
by Tricia Barber

IMG_3234

Hello everyone!  I have a wintery Christmas card to share with you today using the new Nordic Bears die along with the Heavy Branching Trees die.  I am from Atlanta so whenever I see a polar bear, I think about the Coke commercials from years ago when they had the polar bears in them!  So that is what inspired my card today.  I used some Glitzy Glitter cardstock to make the polar bear shadow image.  My snow bank is using the Whittle Field and Trees die and used that same glitter paper.

I ink blended a background with Distress inks and splattered with white paint.   I masked off a moon for my night sky.   To color the Merry Christmas and sweater on the polar bear, I used my new Olo markers in R0.5, R1.5 and R1.7.   I used die cut the greeting with Lavish Merry Christmas die.

I finished off the snowy winter night scene with the Heavy Branching Trees.  I added some jewels from the Christmas Fairy Jewels pack and layered my panel onto a red card base.   Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful crafty day!
