Hello and Happy Birthday Bouquet
by Rachel Duong
Hi to all. I'm back with another card using the Poppystamps "Floral Vase Pop Up Easel Set". This time I used the card front without the easel feature. The blossoms are card stock straight from the "Vibrant Violet", "Lush Green", "Sunny Orange" and "Ocean Blue" collections from Memory Box. (The tops of the coneflowers were the only blossoms I colored with a marker.) The "Pointy Lattice Plate" die creates the perfect background for the bouquet.
Scrap paper became the vase because of its cool and artsy vibe. How fun is that?! The sentiments are the "Hello Moonlight Script" and the "Modest Banner Greetings" foil and cut die set. I also distressed the edges of the base of the bouquet to give it a bit of interest. Blue and white baker's twine tied around the vase finishes the card.
So this is my featured card, but wait... I have more to show...
How about a card with a smaller palette and more subtle colors? I left the vase untouched as well.
Open the card. A sweet Hello from the "Poppystamps "Hello Moonlight Script" appears as well as a blossom with a "Fairy Jewel" embellishment. Embroidery thread in natural, tied in a bow, completes the card.
This card is similar except I left off the leaves and went with all neutrals and powder blue for the blossoms. Experimenting with color combinations is the best.
For the sentiment I used leftover pieces from the previous card. A neutral blossom and natural embroidery thread keeps with the subtlety to finish the card.
And there you have it, a compilation of beautiful flower bouquets, each one a little bit different. (The card on the left is from my last post).
I hope you enjoy seeing variations of cards using the "Floral Vase Pop Up Easel Set". It is another "must have" to add to your Poppystamps collection! Have a beautiful day and see you next time!
