PSC#104 Challenge Reminder!
by Candice
Hi there Crafters! Candice here with a friendly reminder of this month's challenge - PSC#104 Flower Garden! This month members of the Poppystamps design team are showing off our May flowers and would like for you to join in the fun. Show us your paper florals in any color of the rainbow. Projects can be for any occasion, and you're not limited to making cards. We welcome home décor, page layouts, tags and everything in between! It's your choice, just be sure to use at least one Poppystamps die on your projectmto be eligible to win!
For a bit of inspiration for this month's challenge, I created a monochromatic birthday card using the Petite Blooms Flower set and the Birthday Wishes Moonlight Script die set.
The flowers for my card where cut from white card stock, which I layered three differnt ways to create a floral cluster. to embellish my card, I used the Fairy Gemstones and a few rhinestones from my stash.
The sentiment on the card was die cut from gold card stock and the shadow for the word was die cut from white cardstock. Some of the flowers were popped up with foam tape while others were gluded to my card front layer. The sentiment of course was popped up with foam tape.
This design is clean and simple, but packs a lot of punch. Although I made this into a birthday card, I can easily see how this card can be made for a wedding or anniversary.
I hope my card has inspired you to join in the monthly challenge. Need a little more motivation? How about a prize? The winner (chosen at random) of this challenge will receive a $20 Gift Certificate to spend on their favorites from the store!
You have until 12 am US EST on May 29 to link up your design here! We'll start a new challenge and announce the winners on June 1!!
Thanks for joining us! We can't wait to see what you make!
