Poppystamps March Challenge: Die Cuts Only
by Michele K. Henderson

Hello Friends!

March is a great month to play along with our newest challenge from Poppystamps, Die Cuts Only! I used only two different die sets to create my pretty spring tulip easel card that will brighten up any grey March day. We'd love to see how you use Poppystamps die cuts to enter our March design challenge.

I used the Layered Tulips and the Floral Vase Pop Up Easel Set in a colorful Spring tulip card that comes together in an elegant display.

I started by cutting the background pieces of the Floral Vase Pop Up Easel Set in a crisp bright white. I like to use a heavier eight cardstock when I know I'll be adding a lot of layered flowers and leaves.

I found some beautiful white and gold marbled paper which worked great for my tulip vase. The pink/gold/white color combination feels so trendy right now.

Now comes the fun part! I cut layers and layers of stems and tulip parts and assembled them all together in a beautiful bouquet! Some of the tulips were glues directly to the background panel, and others were brought forward a little with a piece of foam pop dot.

Once the tulips and stems came together, the card was ready! Die Cuts Only, and very pretty too! I even left a few tulips for the inside of the card too.

Thanks so much for joining us today! We can't wait to see what you'll create!
