Hello Pandas by Kim Singdahlsen

I absolutely adore all of the pandas that Poppystamps has come out with. Their expressions are just the sweetest!! The newest addition to the pandas is the Whittle Panda Pickup Kit. Besides the pandas, it has a charming old-fashioned pickup truck and also a little wagon for the pandas to ride in. I'll definitely use those in the near future but the person that I made this card for needed pink and sparkly.

There are four Whittle Pandas in the set all with slightly different poses. (You can see all four in the first picture). I used the sitting panda next to the sentiment and I thought the other little guy looked like he was dangling from the bamboo (also in the set). This same little guy would look great holding a big balloon bouquet (even more that comes with this set!)

The hello is the new Hello Moonlight Script. There were a number of Moonlight Script sentiments in the last release. I love the font - it perfectly straddles the line between somewhat elegant but a little bit fun. And it's always nice to have a backer with a sentiment so it pops.

For the background, I used the Penelope Pinpoint Frame. The little diamond shapes on it allowed just a bit of sparkle to peek through. The black Postage Square Layer is actually from Memory Box. It adds just a little bit extra to make my panda scene pop from the background.

These guys are truly fun to work with. They are a single die but it's very clear where to snip the dies to get the two colors. Just cut one in black and one in white and then start trimming. Be sure to check around the blog and the samples for the kit in the store because there are so many ways to use these little guys and their little pickup truck!
