Garden Delight
by Michele K. Henderson
Hello Crafty Friends,
Spring has arrived today, and it has brought some fun inspiration for Springtime card ideas. Today I am sharing my sweet little Spring Bunny that has found a little Garden Delight. Take a look!
This little bunny is ready to play in a garden full of warm spring colors. To create this card, I started with a light blue card base and added the Pointy Lattice Plate in clean white. I then cut the Leafy Vine Corner and the Flower Field Corner, and place them in opposite corners of the card. Then I cut a few flowers and leaves from Potpourri Flower Set, and a few Teardrop Butterflies.
My favorite part is arranging the petals and leaves. You can add as many blooms and leaves as you'd like. Place them all around your card, and create any kind of color palette you'd like. For this card, I used shades of pink for the flowers, and shades of yellow for the butterflies.
I used a little bit of foam squares behind the Spring Bunny, and nestled him in between a few blooms. To finish the design, I added a few sparkling Fairy Jewels, glistening like dew drops.
Thanks so much for joining us today!
