Rainbow of Hearts & Flowers By Lisa Elton

We've had some crazy weather this winter. Unusually warm for northeast Ohio (70 in February!) and very little snow. This has put me in a cheerful mood and it's spilled over onto this card!

I began by stenciling a rainbow of pastel colors using the Criss Cross Heart Stencil. It's topped with the Heartfelt Pinpoint Frame. I just love how these coordinate together!

After running the Potpourri Flowers die through my machine, I colored the blooms with blending brushes using the same inks that were used in the background. The leaves came from the Floral Cake Pop Up Set. Once again, white cardstock inked with blending brushes. If you don't have the Say It Big Sentiments and Dies yet, I suggest you add them to your collection!

Fairy Crystals make the perfect flowers centers . I've used colors from the Autumn and Christmas sets here. On a spring card... I know, right!

I hope the spring I've imagined on my card inspires you to create one of your own!

I love all the beautiful colors, Lisa! They are so pretty peeking out from the die cut background and the flowers certainly look like spring!

Just love this fresh floral, Lisa!! Perfect atop the heart coverplate!! I just love my "Say it Big" set (also have some of the foil plates) - you used it so well here with the flower clusters!!

Love the soft rainbow of colours for this pretty card Lisa. What a lovely coverplace with the diamond stitching and heart cut-outs. Those sweet flowers are the perfect addition. Great work!

Definitely says SPRING to me Lisa!! I love the soft and colorful colors of the hearts...they just POP through the die cut hearts frame beautifully! The added die cut flowers and sentiment all make this card just a delight...LOVE it!! :0)
