Floral Vase
by Candice Crawford
Hey there crafty friends! Candice here on the blog again sharing another card project. Today's card features the new Floral Vase Pop Up Easel set. Poppystamps has released another Pop-up easel card and this one is absolutely stunning. With all Pop-up easel sets, you can create cards as the die is intended or you can use the die as just a focal image on the card as I did with my card today.
In addition to using the Floral Vase Pop Up Easel set. I also used the new Teardrop Butterflies die, the Evangeline Pinpoint Frame die for my background and the You are amazing Poe Script Greeting Hot foil plate for my sentiment. The combination of the products work so well together. They create several layers of dimension on my card design.
The floral vase die set comes with 11 dies to create the vase and several layered flowers. I die cut the flowers, leaves and stems from several pieces of scrap cardstock in various shades of pink, green and yellow. The butterflies were die cut from gold mirror cardstock and I used my Distress Oxide ink in Tumbled Glass to add a bit of blue shading behind the florals to make them pop!
To add a bit of dimension to the background, I added some light gray cardstock to peak though the floral petals of the Evangeline Pinpoint Frame. The sentiment was created using some gold hot foil from my stash and my Go Press and Foil machine. I love the way this card came out and I absolutely adore the new Floral Vase Pop Up Easel set. The vase is so versatile and can be used or any occasion. Fun tip! The vase die just by itself is large enough to make a focal image on a 5x7 card. So if you ever wanted to try your hand at making 5x7 cards, this die set would be perfect.
I hope you have enjoyed today's card share and found inspiration. Until next time....Happy Crafting.
