Hey friends! Can you believe the year is almost over? I hope 2023 brings you lots of cheer and craft supplies :) Today, I'm sharing an easy Valentine's Day themed card design.

I started by applying red and orange pigment powder to a panel of Bristol smooth cardstock and sprayed it with water. I love how the pigment powders spread and change colors once water is added. I used analogous colors as I knew the colors would play together well when mixed. Once the panel was dry, I die cut it with the new Heartfelt Pinpoint Frame die. I trimmed the die cut panel down. I popped up the panel with foam tape on a slightly larger panel of white cardstock. Then I adhered the background to an A2 kraft card base.

Next, I die cut the heart from heavyweight vellum using the new Vintage Scalloped Heart die. I added glitter brush marker to the heart for a little sparkle.  I die cut a cat from the Whittle Adorable Kitty kit and copic colored it with warm grays. For the sentiment, I white heat embossed a sentiment from the included stamp set in the Kitty kit on a piece of red cardstock from the Berry Red paper pad. I split the sentiment apart and cut a fishtail end using scissors. I adhered all of the elements to the heart and then added glue behind the elements and adhered to the card background.

Lastly, I popped up a few of the negative die cut hearts with foam tape.

Hope you enjoyed the card. Happy New Year everyone!
