Hello Poppy Peeps!

It's Sphoorti again and today you'll see the second way I used the 2483 Ornament Background craft die from the 2021 Holiday Release in a way that's completely different from what God and the makers of Poppystamps dies intended. For the first method, check out my previous post here!

For this card, I started off by taking an A2 sized panel of gray card stock and ink blending Black Soot Distress Ink along the perimeter the same way I did for the card from my previous post. I splattered this one with perfect pearls too.

Remember how I had a number of leaves left over from die cutting card stock with the the 2483 Ornament Background craft die, and trimming out the ornament? Well, I took those and layered them on top of each other for dimension. I couldn't throw them away - they're so beautiful! I rounded the sharp edges where I could, and topped off the stacked die cuts with a silver and gold mirror card stock. Then I spread them out and adhered them on the ink blended card panel.

I hot-foiled the "You are amazing" sentiment from the PSF804 You Are Amazing Poe Script Greetings Hot Foil Plate and Dies and adhered it in the middle of the card.

I scattered some clear gems everywhere. I adhered the card panel to an A2 sized black card base and that was it!

When I started making the card on my previous post, I had no idea I'd end up with another one that I never even envisioned. Funny how that happens, huh?!

Thoughts? Questions? Epiphanies? Please do let me know your thoughts! We love to hear from you! I hope you've been having an awesome holiday season and hope you have an awesome New Year's Day and year ahead! Thank you for your never ending support!

Hi Sphoorti, Part 2 is equally as beautiful as Part 1, I love how you have created both cards, and the sentiment is perfect for the cardmaker.
Happy New Year to you and your Family.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
