Just A Note Bouquet

Happy Friday Poppy friends! I hope your presents are wrapped, your stockings are hung, and your cookies are frosted! As much as I love the holidays, I wanted to create a non-holiday card featuring a product from the new Valentines 2023 release. Have you seen it yet? Whenever a new release comes out, I love flipping through the Idea Book. It gives you wonderful ideas for projects, and you can see all of the new products in action.

Today, I am showcasing the Floral Vase Pop Up Easel Set. This is a new addition to the Poppystamps easel products and is so beautiful! I love, love flowers and I enjoy sending flowers too. These paper flowers will never wilt so they make the perfect gift.

This card was fairly easy to put together. Start by die cutting all of the pieces to make the easel and base. I die cut them from white cardstock. The short part of the card base with the little tab is the front. When assembling the easel, you add glue or scor tape to the little tab only. This ensures that the easel props up properly.

After die cutting the base pieces from white, I ink blended the vase with teal ink. I die cut the leaves, flowers, and flower centers from both light and dark cardstocks in the Fresh Aqua paper pad and Sunny Orange paper pad. I arranged and adhered all of the leaves and flowers together with liquid glue or foam tape for varied dimension. For the flower centers, I added a little ink blending for color variation and depth.

After adhering all of the flowers, I added sparkle with Fairy Sugar glitter glue. I added small drops of the Fairy Sugar in the color Sunlit Gold, which may be my favorite color in the glitter glue line. It added just the right amount of shine to my bouquet.

To create a stopper for the easel, I hot foiled a sentiment in gold glimmer foil from the Modest Greetings 1 set on white cardstock. I positioned the sentiment and die cut it with the outline die so the curve of the sentiment matched the card.

I adhered the sentiment with foam tape so it would catch the easel and added a few extra flowers underneath to carry the theme through. I eventually added more fairy sugar drops to the flower centers.

I really like how this sweet card turned out. This design could be used for any occasion, all year round! Thanks for stopping by. Wishing you and yours a very happy holiday!! May all the joy of the season be yours. See you next time.
