Hey there crafters, Candice here on the blog today sharing a slimline Halloween card using a few new products from Poppystamps. Slimline cards are a lot of fun to make and they are pretty easy too.

Today's card is using the new Ghost die from the new Halloween Assemblage die set along with the Boo sentiment from the new Boo Poe Script die. I die cut the ghost three times from white cardstock and the sentiment was die cut six times in two. Three times from white cardstock and three times from black cardstock. I then layered the black cardstock on top of the white cardstock with liquid glue slightly off center to create a shadow for the sentiment.

For the background of my card, I used my Distress Oxide Ink in Black shoot along with a blending brush to create a spooky cloudy night sky. I then used a black Sharpie marker and drew freehand a few bats to my background scene.

Next I adhered the die cut ghosts to the card with some 3m foam tape. Lastly I added the layered Boo sentiments to the card with some liquid adhesive. I really liked how my card came together. I tend to gravitate more towards cutesy Halloween cards, more so than spooky and scary halloween cards. I categorized this card as "cutesy" Halloween.

Thank you for stopping by the blog today. I hope you enjoyed this card share and found inspiration. Unit next time crafters, happy crafting.

Hi Candice, This is a lovely card, monochrome in style and such a 'cutesy' halloween card, and I love the spooky night sky you have created..
Lots of love from Patricia xx
