Merry Christmas
by Tiffany Pryce
Hey friends! I hope you are enjoying summer so far. I love the Christmas in July theme, so I decided to pull out a couple of my holiday supplies to make another Christmas card for my stash.
To start, die cut the Holly Ring from white and silver cardstock. The silver is from the Vintage Pastel Mirror paper pad. Adhere the two layers together. Next, die cut the Holly Ring from an A2 panel of white cardstock and adhere a piece of acetate with liquid glue behind the panel. The only portion of the shaker window visible will be the circle in the middle, so add foam tape covering the back everywhere, but the middle.
Adhere the Holly Ring die cut to the top of the panel, making sure it inlays and fills the negative space correctly.
Fill the shaker window with holiday sequins and close it up with another piece of white cardstock. Turn the panel over, and embellish with a few sequins around the window. Next, die cut small pieces of cardstock to inlay those pieces to fill the leaves and berries on the Holly Ring.
Finally, for the sentiment, die cut the Merry Christmas Poe Script die three times - red, aqua, and dark aqua. Stack them together for dimension.
Enjoy your weekend and see you on the blog next week!
