I Scream You Scream for Ice Cream

Hi there Poppystamps friends, Candice here on the blog sharing an adorable ice cream card using the new Grand Whittle Ice Cream Cone die. Its been a hot summer thus far so I thought it was best time to cool ourselves with a whimical card that would melt our hearts.
To make this card I paired the Ice Cream Cone die with the Pinpoint Half Ring Plate for the background that was die cut from white cardstock. I created a frame for my focal image using the Double Stitched Scalloped Rectangles frame die that I die cut from teal cardstock.
I die cut the ice cream image three times in pink, cream and teal cardstock. I created my own toppings for the cones by die cutting the ice cream portion from hot pink, dark brown and kraft colored cardstock and fuzzy cut the drippings image with my scissors.
To add a bit od depth and dimension to the ice cream cones I used my white gel pen to create shadow marks. The punny sentiment on the card comes from the Poppystamps Life is Sweet clear stamp set. I hope you have enjoyed today's cardshare and found inspirarion. Until next time....Happy Crafting!
