Holiday Joy
by Tiffany Pryce
Hey Poppy friends and happy Saturday! I have another holiday card to share that was pretty easy to make. I think it would be easy to make multiples of this design in different color combos for your whole holiday card recipient list.
Using the Postage Rectangle Layers, die cut two layers - one from the Woodgrain paper pack kraft and the other from patterned paper from the Woodsy Plaid paper pack. Adhere the layers together on an A2 card base.
Next, die cut the Double Joy die multiple times from white cardstock and glue the layers together. Die cut the outline layer from gold cardstock from the Vintage Mirror paper pack. Adhere the sentiment to the center of the card front. Next, die cut the Small Blooming Poinsettia die from red and white cardstock. Adhere the layers together, alternating. I think it looks like a peppermint which fits in with the holiday theme. Adhere with a piece of double foam tape to the center of the 'O' and add white pen details to the flower.
Finally, embellish the card with gold jewels all around the card front. I almost did not add any jewels because I was afraid it would be too busy, but I like the added hint of sparkle. It adds a little more whimsy to this holiday card. Thanks for stopping by the blog today. Until next time, happy crafting!
