Stained Glass Butterflies
by Candice Crawford

Poppystamps 6.20.22.1

Hi there crafty friends. Candice here on the blog with a colorful and creative card share. Today's card features the new Stained Glass Butterfly collage die from the latest Poppystamps release.

Poppystamps 6.20.22.2

I created the card by first die cutting the butteflies from a slimline piece of black cardstock. The die cuts one cluster of butterflies. So once I die cut the first cluster from the top of the card front, I die cut the butterflies again at the bottom of the card front panel.

Next, I took the same size slimline panel in white cardstock and blended some distress inks onto the panel in rainbow order. I did not bother to blend the colors completely for a smooth look.

Then I adhered the black die cut panel of butterflied onto the rainbow blended cardstock with liquid glue. The rainbow butterflies immediately come to life once the black cardstock is adhered.

Next I foiled the sentiment Thinking of you with some silver foil paper and my Go Press and Foil machine. The sentiment comes from the new You Are Amazing Poe Script Grettings Foil and Cut die set. I also die cut a few butterflies from the Fern and Daisy Pop Up Easel Set from Gold Mirror cardstock and adhered the butterflies to the card with some liquid adhesive. The sentiment was popped up on 3M foam tape.

Lastly,  I used my white craft paint  and a pain brust to add splatters to the card panel for added interest. I think today's card came out absolutely stunning. I hope you have enjoyed today's card share and found inspiration. Until next time happy crafting!
