A Card Made with Leftovers
by Sphoorti

Hello there, Poppy Peeps!

I'm not sure if you had a chance to look at my post from the other day, but it was about making Cake shaped Easel cards. In case you missed it - you can find it here. When I was putting those cards together, I had some leftovers and I randomly pieced the leftovers together and made this quick and easy, clean and simple card.  Since I already had the pieces, this card took about 10 minutes to make (maybe it'd have taken 20 if I didn't have all the pieces) but I thought it turned out great (if I do say so myself) in spite of it being a leftovers-card.

Since I had my Stunning Mandala 3D Embossing Folder out already, I ran a 4.25" x 5.5" piece of card stock through it and used that as a background. Look at that gorgeous detail!!!

Since I had my Gemini FoilPress out, I decided to hot foil a bunch of sentiments using the Birthday Wishes Poe Script Hot Foil Plate and Dies and I took the one that said Hello, which was small and didn't cover up too much of the gorgeous mandala background and foam mounted it.

I had some leftover alcohol ink card stock from years ago and I ran it through with the Leafy Garden Border craft die die to get the leafy border and stuck it to the bottom of the card. I took some jewels in green and gold colors to go with the card stock and scattered them around the border and that was it! Very quick, but still pretty! What do you think?
